Itinerary
During the navigation, travelers will explore the unique waterways of the Tigre Delta, a vast network of rivers and narrow channels surrounded by lush subtropical vegetation. As the boat glides through the calm waters, guests will see traditional stilt houses, elegant weekend residences, historic rowing clubs, floating supermarkets, and river taxis — all part of daily island life. The guide explains how locals commute, attend school, and adapt to living in this remarkable river ecosystem. Along the way, enjoy peaceful scenery, fresh air, and excellent photo opportunities while discovering the history, culture, and natural beauty that make the Delta one of Argentina’s most distinctive landscapes.
Enjoy a snack at a local restaurant trying some hand-made empanadas. Be welcome to a sensory, friendly, fresh and natural environment located within one of the emblematic rowing clubs of the city of Tigre.
The Puerto de frutos is a small pier located on the banks of the Luján River in the town of Tigre, next to which the fruit market is located. Its name comes from the mid-twentieth century where the fruit production of the Paraná Delta used to disembark in that area, and was then marketed in the city of Buenos Aires
Victorica Avenue is the coastal walk that borders the Luján River to reach the elegant gardens that surround the headquarters of the Tigre Deliberative Council and the Tigre Art Museum
In 1909, a society was formed with the purpose of founding a club that would bring together the inhabitants of the place and would be a space for the practice of sports and recreation, including at the same time a casino in the European style

My girlfriend and I did this tour in July 26'. We opted for the 2 hour with snacks variation. It was a fun little tour, the cruise on the water was the highlight for me. The town was alright and we got some shopping done, while not the most exciting or extensive tour we have done, it was short and sweet with plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your day.
To start with we did this 8 years ago so we knew it was good, very informative day and very interesting Stella our guide was on time, fluent in English, and a bit of fun which most are not in other companies, the staff at Signature are a credit to their company (we did another tour with them next day to Gauchos which i have reviewed) and this tour was fascinating Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is the tide was out and we couldn't go into the islands near tigre-which was the point- but not the tour companys fault and Stella handled it well, food at restaurant was first class and would recommend highly, when the tides on
We had a wonderful trip! Veronica is a great guide, very informative, interesting and fun! Axle was a great driver and we felt very safe. Would recommend this trip to everyone.
This is a 3 stat tour. They area is not unique in anyway ans its a long drive from BA. Would not waste a day to go there if your visit is short
Pleasant half-day excursion with the excellent guide Debora!
Guide very informative . Easy going agenda . Pick up on time . Boat trip was 1hour which was enough for us . Good to get out if city for a few hours .
Was not sure what tp expect...but such a lively day on the river for 2hrs. Then another historical tour, light snack & drink was more than enough like a light lunch. Also got to do bit of shopping! Do the 2hrs on thia trip on the river. Guide was great & just a lovely day! We were picked up & dropped off to our hotel.
We had a very good experience on the Tigre Delta tour and felt it was excellent value for the money. Denise was a fantastic guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the tour. Aaron was also a lovely driver and made the transportation comfortable and easy. The only downside was that it was sometimes difficult to hear the information being provided over the speakers on the boat, which made some of the commentary hard to follow. Other than that, it was a really enjoyable experience and a nice way to spend a few hours exploring the Tigre Delta. We would definitely recommend it!
Our local guide was a fountain of knowledge. All day long, he gave us so much information we now feel almost like locals too! Every minute of the commute time and boat tour was used to maximum advantage. The views of the Tigre Delta and surroundings were excellent and we also very much enjoyed the relaxing wine and cheese spread on the boat during the middle of the experience. Very memorable!
