Very nice experience Reservation was very easy to book Everything went very smooth We went to The Tianmen tower at 1:30 pm Very less crowded at that time
The square is very impressive. The security checks were very extensive. So plan enough time. I was there on a Monday at noon and it was actually still relaxed. On other days, they say it takes up to 1.5 hours to get into the square.
Thank you very much for your lovely review! We are glad you enjoyed the square. You are absolutely right that security checks can take time, so we always advise guests to set aside plenty of visiting time. We are happy your visit on Monday noon went smoothly. We hope to welcome you back to Beijing soon!
We had a lovely afternoon visit to Tiananmen Square. There was no need for an early‑morning wake‑up, which was really convenient. The square is enormous and truly breathtaking. We walked around at a relaxed pace, admiring Tiananmen Gate, the Monument to the People’s Heroes and other historic landmarks. The security process was efficient and well‑managed, and the whole area felt safe and orderly. We stayed until late afternoon and watched the flag‑lowering ceremony, which was solemn and touching. This is an unmissable experience for anyone coming to Beijing.
Dear Alicia, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback on your afternoon tour of Tiananmen Square! We are delighted to hear you enjoyed the relaxed afternoon schedule without an early‑morning start, and that you were impressed by the grand square, historic landmarks and the solemn flag‑lowering ceremony. It means a lot to us that you felt safe during your visit. Witnessing the flag‑lowering ceremony is indeed a memorable highlight in Beijing. We sincerely hope you will enjoy the rest of your trip in China. Looking forward to welcoming you again in the future! Best regards, LIly's tour guide
Perfect! No problem, you just have to be patient with the security checks and that's it, enjoy one of the most famous squares in the world.
Thank you for your lovely feedback! You are absolutely right, a little patience for the security checks goes a long way. Hope you had a wonderful time visiting one of the most famous squares in the world. We would love to welcome you back to Beijing sometime in the future.
We had a wonderful experience with this Tiananmen Square reservation service. The booking process online was straightforward. There is no tour guide included with this service, so we explored the site entirely on our own, which suited our travel style perfectly. We arrived at the scheduled time, followed the entry instructions provided, and went through security check without any delays or complications. Thanks to this reservation service, we avoided the stress and complexity of arranging the booking by ourselves. We were able to take our time walking around Tiananmen Square, admire the grand architecture, and soak in the special historical atmosphere at our own pace. Everything worked exactly as promised. We are really satisfied and would happily recommend this service to other visitors coming to Beijing.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We are glad to hear you had a great self‑guided visit to Tiananmen Square. It pleases us that our reservation service helped you skip the hassle of complicated self‑booking procedures and enjoy the grand historical site at your own pace. Wish you a pleasant rest of your trip in Beijing! We look forward to serving you again in the future.
Long and time-consuming queues and at the end even the reservation was not in the system. They still got a book, because they say they can't get Books in the box. Mausoleum closed. The good part was that we had seen the backing of the flag at sunset, with official troops marching.
We are truly sorry to hear your experience did not meet your expectations. During the summer‑holiday period, visitor volumes rise sharply, which results in long waiting times at security checkpoints. This situation is beyond our control, and we advise all guests to be prepared for extended queues. The summer travel season will end in around 10 days, after‑which waiting times should improve significantly. Regarding the book that was retained: Tiananmen Square is a sensitive public site where all printed materials are subject to security inspection. Items containing foreign national flags or content considered unfriendly toward China are not permitted inside the premises. You also mentioned your reservation could not be found in the system. Please note that entry to Tiananmen Square is strictly reservation‑only and access is not possible without a valid booking. We have previously emailed you with supporting screenshots from our backend system, and you acknowledged receipt by replying “Ok”. Thank you for your honest feedback. We will continue to remind future guests about peak‑season conditions to help them better plan their visits.
The security chevk yook two hours and then it wasnt cleat how to get tonthe square so we ended up walking in the Temple Palace and unable to enter the square. We were not able tonget to the square.
We are truly sorry to hear you could not access Tiananmen Square and encountered such a frustrating experience. During the summer vacation, visitor volumes are extremely high, leading to lengthy security check queues, which are out of our control. We advise visitors to fully prepare for long waiting times. Visiting in the evening will significantly reduce crowds. The summer holiday will end in around 10 days, and queues will become much shorter afterwards. We appreciate your honest feedback and will keep reminding future guests about this peak-season situation.
They booked the ticket on the wrong day. I mean, completely wrong day; I gave passport information, and then booked it for the next day. Not the right then who was a whole week away They were also not to be reached when we stood and couldn't get in
Dear Frederik, We sincerely apologize for the wrong date on your ticket booking. After reviewing your original order record, we found that you modified your reservation at the last minute, which accidentally changed the visiting date. We feel extremely sorry for all the trouble this has caused you. It must have been very frustrating when you arrived at the venue unable to get in, yet couldn’t reach our staff for any assistance. We take your unpleasant experience very seriously and will optimize our booking procedures to prevent similar mistakes from happening again. Regards
This worked perfectly! Sent my info and got a confirmation of the registration a few days before my visit. I don't have WeChat so this was a very convenient way of getting enrolled to visit the square. Take the screenshot with you alongside your passport, I needed both. Went on a Tuesday at 6:50 AM, security line was minimal (1-2 min). Recommend booking the palace museum for the same day, it's easy to go there directly from the square!
Thanks a lot for your lovely review! Glad our service was super convenient without WeChat and you got your confirmation ahead of your trip. Your travel tips are really helpful for future visitors! Wish you a lovely rest of your journey!
