What a beautiful experience. We were well received upon entering and we were explained where we can take pictures (upon entry) and put our stuff. Extra space was made for my large backpack. The museum was very nice interactive! Everywhere there was the possibility to take photos with a QR code, which we could have printed. There is a nice restaurant with something for everyone. We also got an ice cream on leaving! Super sweet! Thanks for the nice time and see you again!
Very nice experience!! Nice reception and lovely view! Good food!
Great experience, looked at things to do in Amsterdam so happy we did choose to do this. It was our day returning back to the airport so decided to do a day in Amsterdam, we were running late and emailed the contact email to ask if we could move the timings on by an hour to be abruptly told no, we rushed to get there but was still late and took our chances so glad we did and the gentlemen that greeted us put us at ease and said it was not problem, relax have a seat in the cafe and go in when you are ready. We decided to grab a bite to eat, milkshake and drinks and take in the cafe itself, the people running the cafe are super efficient and do not stop not long waiting times and such an experience. The pink toasite was fantastic. My friend has epilepsy again staff so good they took her round the strobing. We spent 2 hours here overall. I would have given this 5 stars but the email knocks it down, this has nothing to do with the place or staff they are exceptional. Other thing to consider is its the other end of train station and you will need to get a taxi 15 minutes drive but well worth it.
Was a very nice museum a lot of entertainment. Guide explained well. Also a nice restaurant at the end there the prices were moderate.
A special experience with very friendly staff. Because of autism/stimuli it was annoying that the music was loud everywhere, we were not fully prepared for this. We didn't really think that added anything to the experience either. Being able to take nice pictures and in the end it was a nice experience but one to recover from. Our advice is to provide hearing protection if there is sensitivity to noise stimuli.
We got there for 11am and it was easy to purchase tickets while there which was handy! When we went into the actual immersive part of this experience it was not what we expected. It was massively overcrowded, there was not enough staff for the venue. I feel like there should’ve been more staff around the experience as at points we were waiting in rooms for 15 minutes just to go into the next one and get our pictures. All of this was purely the people, no staff were telling people when it was their turn so this lead to people just walking in during pictures or pushing in line. It was very crowded and i don’t believe the visitors/ experience was handled very well by the organisers.
Very, very disappointed by this experience. Very few rooms, and apart from objects stuck to the ceiling and photos of you to take with photo booths in part of the rooms to see yourself upside down, obviously... We all regret coming. No interest
Wonderful experience! Great photo opportunity. Has professional cameras on most sections to take photos and you can print them off!
Our family really enjoyed our afternoon at The Upside Down. The girls loved the uniqueness of each room, while we loved the fun Dutch history and facts on each wall and how they connected to the theme of the room. This place is the epitome of Instagram-worthy, but it was much more and gave us a chance to get out of Old Town/Canal District.
It is a fun museum to pop through with lots of laughs but under no circumstances, do not use Viator to get your tickets. Just go to the venue and pay at the entrance. Even GetYourGuide online tickets is cheaper and more efficient.
