The Ultimate NYC Secondhand Shopping Experience

Quentin was well versed in consignment! He was fun and helpful. Worth every penny to have his assistance shopping. I found some real treasures.

I chose this tour as a way to find reference garments for my final project in fashion school. I'm from a city mostly known for sportswear fashion and NYC is of course an awesome playground of fashion creativity. I get easily overwhelmed but being on the tour with Quentin was like having fun, "structured" play. He helped me by pulling items he thought I would like and set aside the pieces I pulled. The other people on the tour were so cool too. I am happy by my first experience and would sign up again when I return to NYC.

We had the best time! Mecca was lovely and helpful and just really knowledgeable about all the shops. Highly recommend - takes the pressure off and you can just relax and take in the experience. My son found so many great finds and is so excited for his new wardrobe.

I could never say enough nice things about this tour! First, the OWNER (Samantha) was amazing at working out the tour for us. She made sure we were able to have our tour while working with an odd schedule. She was also able to accompany us on our tour for part of it, and she’s a BLAST! Second, our tour guide (QUENTIN) was AMAZING. So much fun, so helpful, and just a RAD person! There were definitely items we ended up buying because Quentin was there to help us shop. Third, my daughter and I just had an overall great experience. Every shop we went to had some amazing finds. Having a guide to give us ideas and help us find items was beyond helpful. It was the best thrifting experience I’ve ever had. I wasn’t really planning to shop for myself (I planned the tour for my daughter’s sixteenth birthday so it was for her to shop), but I ended up with so many nice items, which I don’t think I could have done on my own. I would absolutely do this tour again! Book it - you won’t regret it!

Both the tour and group leader Quentin were great! Hard to believe we visited six stores in one afternoon. Quentin is a great communicator and put a group of strangers at ease easily. He asked each of us what were looking for, and then spent his time trying to find it. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the sense of fun and comraderie that he encouraged. I highly recommend the tour and Quentin as group leader.

Two mothers and daughters enjoyed a wonderful shopping experience with Quentin - he was so friendly and helpful and we went to many stores with tons of options for ever budget. We all walked away with several special pieces! Definitely recommend!!!
