We had an absolutely wonderful 6-hour tour of London with JP and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a memorable and informative way to see the city! JP took us to so many of London’s iconic landmarks, including Westminster Abbey, London Bridge, the Tower of London, Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben), the Houses of Parliament, and many more. We were able to see and experience so much in just one day, without feeling rushed. What really made the tour special was JP’s incredible knowledge of London’s history. He shared fascinating stories, historical facts, and interesting details about each place we visited, bringing the city’s history to life. You could truly tell that he loves London and takes pride in sharing its history with visitors. JP was also professional, friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to spend the day with. He made sure we were comfortable and that we got to see the sights we wanted while also showing us some wonderful places we might otherwise have missed. If you’re visiting London and want to see the city with someone who is knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate about what he does, we highly recommend Black Cab Tours. Our 6-hour tour was one of the highlights of our London trip, and we would definitely book again! Make sure to request JP and be ready for a lot of walking!
Our driver Terry was the best. He was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us all the sights and more.
Dave was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! He showed us all the main landmarks and MORE that we ask for!!! Extremely knowledgeable in all his history and the sites he took us too !!! Very pleasant gentleman, helped two of friends that needed a little more assistance in and out of car and made this experience very enjoyable for them also !!!! Dave is GREAT!!!!
The experience was beyond what we hoped for and if all drivers/guides are even half as knowledgeable and accommodating as Terry then you can rest assured of an educational informative and relaxing tour that has been personally designed to your needs whatever level they may be. We only had a few requests and left the rest up to Terry, a 23 year veteran of the black cab taxis. His punctuality and endless knowledge of the streets of London was well worth the advantage of a private tour. We 100% recommend him and this company.
Patrick was a terrific guide. Gave us a great viewing point for seeing the Buckingham Palace guards prepare for the guard changing ceremony without fighting crowds. Took us to some little known shops where Winston Churchill frequented. When he found out we were Beatles fans he altered course to be sure we saw Beatles sites like their London homes, site of rooftop concert and Abbey Road studio. Took pictures of us crossing the famous Abbey Road crosswalk. Gave lots of recommendations for how to spend the rest of our days in London. Showed us the best spots for getting photos and took plenty of the two of us together. No one knows how to get you around the city better than an experienced cabbie. Cab was very comfortable for the two of us with lots of legroom.
Dave Cannell is an absolutely outstanding London tour guide. From the moment the tour began, he brought the city to life with his humour, energy, and incredible storytelling. He has that rare ability to make history feel vivid and modern, weaving in fun details and hidden gems that you’d never discover on your own. Dave also paid close attention to the group, tailoring the experience so everyone felt engaged and included.I walked away feeling like I’d seen a completely new side of London. Dave is a true gem — book a tour with him if you want something genuinely special
John Mitchell was our driver/tour guide and did an excellent job of showing us all of the essential London sights along with a number of special request sites. He was knowledgeable, friendly and fun to spend our day with. I would highly suggest him to anyone interested in a private tour of the London area.
We had an incredible experience with Paul as our tour guide in London! He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the city’s history, landmarks, and hidden gems, and he effortlessly wove in fascinating facts throughout the tour, even tailoring stories to conversations that came up along the way. His sense of humor made the experience both engaging and memorable, and his kindness and professionalism were evident from start to finish. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything on our wish list, making us feel like the tour was personalized just for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend Paul to anyone visiting London!
We have had a brilliant day, very interesting and informative
