Itinerary
We begin on Zaragoza’s most iconic pedestrian street. Framed by beautiful 19th-century architecture, this path offers a breathtaking "telephoto" view of the Basilica’s domes, making it the perfect grand entrance to the city’s heart.
Next, we’ll cross the "Stone Bridge." While the current structure dates back to the 15th century, it stands where Romans once crossed. It offers the absolute best panoramic view of the city skyline and the Ebro River.
Zaragoza is the land of Goya. We’ll stop at this tribute to the master painter, located in the Plaza del Pilar, to discuss his local roots and the profound impact his "Black Paintings" and etchings had on the art world.
The modern pulse of the city. This square connects the historic old town with the newer commercial districts and serves as a memorial to the Aragonese martyrs of the Napoleonic Sieges.
Time to live like a local and taste local candy. We’ll take 15 minutes to recharge with a café con leche or a quick pastry. Zaragoza has a rich coffee culture, use this time to soak in the atmosphere.
A charming, hidden gem. Once home to the "Leaning Tower" of Zaragoza (the Torre Nueva), this square is now a peaceful spot surrounded by Baroque palaces and the museum of the sculptor Pablo Gargallo.
A feast for the senses. This stunning 1903 Art Nouveau building is still a working market. We’ll weave through stalls of Aragonese lamb, Borraja vegetables, and local cheeses.
We step back to the 1st century. These defensive walls are the most significant remains of the Roman city of Caesaraugusta. Standing here, you can truly feel the ancient scale of the city.
The Grand Finale: We will conclude your journey at the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture and the spiritual soul of Spain.

A unique experience through Zaragoza with Simon. A dynamic visit with a lot of cultural load, explaining every point and every detail of the tour. We were with two kids and they liked it too. He has given us recommendations to visit and eat. Also, it gives you some typical candies here to try. Also, as a good photography expert he has taken some very nice family photos. Excellent experience
A MUST DO tour to appreciate Zaragoza! Angela was an outstanding tour guide and teacher! She was thorough, educational and hilarious. Her obvious love of the city translates to her guests. Give her a raise!!!
Great tour of northern Zaragoza. We spent time on the Ebro, at the Basilica, and various areas nearby. Angie is a great host, and she is hilarious!
We did the tour in english. The guide was completely fluent. It was a good overview of the area and history. We got great pictures, local stories, and tips for more places to see and eat. The guide was a bit fast for some of us but she did keep us together. Definitely worth the price.
She was very funny & I learned a lot. The basilica is very beautiful. Unfortunately, it was a very hot day.
If you want to experience Zaragoza from a different perspective and learn stories beyond the usual tourist attractions, I highly recommend this tour. A fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations!
An amazing guide! We entered the Basilica, and it was an incredible spiritual moment! The way Simón explains it touches your heart. The tour was very good for the price!! I will return with my mother next time.
A unique and exciting experience, thanks to Simon who was our guide, who in our experience doing a free tour through various sites in Spain, provided the best explanation of everything and the best treatment received from him, it is clear that he understands and enjoys his work, more than a guide he has been like a friend, SIMON, thank you very much from our side, we will not forget it, Greetings to Mode and María
