Ian was the most fantastic guide!!! He's a brilliant storyteller and clearly really knowledgeable and excited to tell us all about Brussels! The tour takes you to all the major hot spots in the city, so it's a perfect intro to Brussels if you've ever been before. Tour took about 2.5 hours, it's quite an easy walk but I still recommend good comfy shoes :)
This was a great waking tour. Leandro was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Brussels which made the tour very interesting. We both thought it was excellent value for money. The only thing I found slightly confusing was the meeting spot. There are numerous walking tours heading off from the Grand Square and I wasn’t sure what colour umbrella to look for - the answer is to look for the yellow one!
Great introduction to Belgium's capital city! The walk was pleasant, historical and well paced. Our guide was personable and articulate with a good command of the English language. My husband and I had fun walking the historical and beautiful city of Brussels with the tidbits of information only a good guide can give you.
The guide was easy to locate with her big yellow umbrella. She was knowledgeable and happy to answer further questions. The information provided was about the right amount without overloading and going into too much depth. I followed one of her restaurant recommendations for lunch and I wasn’t disappointed. I also went to a museum after the tour that had been mentioned. I felt that I knew quite a bit about Brussels at the end and the main walkable sites had been covered.
The tour was good, not great, but the tour guide Pablo kept pushing a minimum payment of 25 Euro which I resented because it wasn't merited, and he kept dropping it over the tour, which was super pushy. He also didnt have a lot of in depth Belgian knowledge or know much about the people and culture.
Our guide was very informative and interactive with the group. This tour is very worthwhile. Only one thing I found awkward, the guide often mentioned his expectation of payment and how much, even taking the group to a bank to get money.
Marcella was really knowledgeable and we saw so many things in a short space of time. It was lovely learning about the history of Brussels.
Marsala was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable, answered any questions we had, and was very personable. Would highly recommend.
Ian’s tour was completely engrossing & entertaining, even for our teenage sons! He’s a brilliant speaker & went out of his way to answer any additional questions between speeches. He really brought Brussels to life for us 🤩😎 Tip- We just turned up on the day as it seems lots of companies charge you to book (eg Viator) although none of the payment goes to the tour company.
Fantastic walking city tour of Brussels with the amazing Marcella. She was fun, friendly and so knowledgeable of the area providing recommendations for shops, eateries, drinks etc We absolutely loved her fun quiz at the end of the tour which cemented how much we learned about Brussels during our time with her. This is a must see and do tour whilst in Brussels. We would highly recommend it and hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Marcella, Thanks again Marcella.
