We had the most wonderful experience with Ross Castle Boat Tours! My husband, our two children (aged 2 and 5), and I enjoyed a beautiful trip out on the lake on a gorgeous sunny Sunday. Our guide was absolutely fantastic. He was so accommodating, had a brilliant sense of humour, and was incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He made the tour so interesting and engaging, and it was a pleasure listening to all the stories and history he shared. The children absolutely loved him, and the highlight of their day was getting the chance to steer the boat on the way back! It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even more memorable for our family. We also had plenty of time to explore Innisfallen Island, and our guide took us to see the famous Meeting of the Waters, which was stunning. I would highly recommend Ross Castle Boat Tours to anyone visiting Killarney. It was a relaxing, fun, and memorable experience for the whole family, and we can't wait to come back and do it again!
Really excellent trip, Tony was a delightful guide. Beautiful scenery and well worth it.

Wonderful weather and beautiful scenery. Tony was a great, easy going and interesting guide. A perfect way to enjoy the lakes and get a real sense of immersion into nature. We would have been happy to stay onboard for the day! Quiet, we didn't meet other boats out, it was just perfect and a great change from driving around.

Amazing lake trip through Killarney Lakes with knowledgeable guide Diarmaid, through to Meeting of the Waters (very beautiful) and then to Innisfallen Island, best of all, amazing monastic site surrounded by ancient woods, hawthorn in flower - the highlight of our Kerry trip!
Thanks a million for the review - we love that our tour was the highlight of your Kerry trip and hope you have many more wonderful memories from your time in Ireland. Kind regards, Mike and Tony, RCBT.
We are just back from a trip to the meeting of the waters with Mike. This is a super way of seeing the lakes and Mike was an absolute gentleman. Very impressed with his knowledge and history of the area and the lakes. If you want to do a boat trip on the lakes we would highly recommend this trip.
Hi guys, thanks so much for the review. Mike is one of the best guides on the Lakes of Killarney with a lifetime of knowledge and experience. He loves looking after guests and is always so appreciative of feedback like this. Thanks for the 5 Stars. Mike and Tony, RCBT.
This open boat tour should not be missed on any trip to Killarney, it’s absolutely magical! The skipper, a kind & considerate gentleman, has a wealth of knowledge on the nature, history & geography of the Killarney lakes. There’s a minimum of 4 fares to make the operation viable, & as a solo traveller I booked the boat for myself, and it was so very worth it! I also recommend enjoying a coffee & bake from the Garden Cafe close to the jetty by Ross Castle, all freshly made food & great coffee!
Hi Martine, thank you for taking time to share a great review. Its a wonderful tour and absolutely agree that the Garden Cafe is a good spot for a nice coffee. Mike and Tony, RCBT.
Highly recommend! Or maybe I shod say it's the most recommend thing in my 2-day kilarney trip, and you won't regret if you choose the meeting of water, I'm grateful I chose to go even the weather is not too good, but then after the storm and tornado on the lake I saw the whole rainbow and the peace on the wetland, it's really unforgettable, thank you Captain Jason!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review. While the weather wasn't great on the day, your description really highlights how ready it is to enjoy the park and Lakes in all conditions. Thanks so much for the 5 star review and Captain Jason is delighted also. Kind regards, Mike and Tony, RCBT.
Our trip to Ireland found us with such wonderful tours & guides. Our Meeting of the Waters was no different. After reviewing safety protocols and we were setting off, Mike showed himself to be quite a witty storyteller with warmth & kindness. We also love that this a family business. It was such a unique experience. Later in our 2 week stay I was asked about our trip so far and all I could think of is how the people in Ireland match the beauty of the country. Thank you, Mike for an interesting & fun adventure.
Wow Lynne, what a powerful 5 Star Review. I think you got every possible compliment in and as a small family run business we are so appreciative. Thank you so much. Mike and Tony, RCBT.
