In the fishing village of Mallaig, you'll have free time to explore and enjoy lunch before everyone rejoins the coach. Mohammed and Abby were great fun, and terrific guides. Very knowledgeable and answered so many questions. Highly recommend with train, especially for the Harry Potter fan.
Despite it being a rainy and gray day in the Highlands, the tour truly was magical. The Highlands were gorgeous and the misty, rainy weather only added to the vibes. Mohammad was fantastic, he handled the narrow, twisting roads like a true pro, all while providing an engaging history lesson and pointing out amazing sites throughout the tour. I highly recommend the tour, and if you can get Mohammad as a guide, even better!
We paid a very high price for the excursion and they left a few minutes early, so we missed it, along with the money, since they offered us another excursion that turned out to be beautiful but much cheaper. All because of not leaving at the scheduled time. I spoke about it with the company and they gave us a discount, which I appreciate, but I really wanted to do that tour that was ruined just by not leaving at the indicated time or waiting two minutes.
We were unaware of this situation, and we'd really appreciate the opportunity to look into what happened. Please contact us directly with your booking details so we can investigate the circumstances surrounding your excursion and discuss this with you further.
From start to finish, our tour guide mohammed was fabulous. Great humour, great storytelling, and great music. He did a fabulous job of communication, spotting places and safety . The coach trip was stunning views, air con available and a clean coach. The jacobite train was also lovely, with lovely staff who pointed out harry potter views.. Unfortunately i booked through a company whos instructions etc were a little confusing. In one listing it said i would get a light breakfast and a return train, however when on the tour, it was no breakfast and only a single journey so quite a lot more money than i might have paid. Luckily the tour driver made it worth it!
Mohammed was such a delightful guide. He was funny, kind, patient, and an incredible safe driver. We were all delighted to have him as our guide and the experience was a hidden gem of our trip.

We had such a great time on the tour! It was quite a long drive to do on one day. We actually planned to do the 2 day tour, but I was too late with booking that one. But our bus driver Mohamed was the best. He was very considerate and entertaining and we learned a ton of new history facts. 100% recommend ;) The train was amazing. It was a great experience to actually ride the ‘Harry Potter train. My daughter was delighted. Even though it was such a long route to do in one day our driver went out of his way to make some stops at interesting places, so we got to enjoy some nice highland sights as well. We even got to see the train come back from a nice view point which in this busy season was quite a feat ;) So over all very happy!
Mohammed made this tour so fun and is so very knowledgeable about Scotland and its history. What a joy today was thanks to him. I heard several other people in the bus saying they have been on many tours and he is by far the best driver guide they have ever had.
We have a very good driver/ tour guide ! Well done mohammed! He is nice and shared some history knowledge about scotland! Worth it
We're on our way home from the Magical highland tour and steam train ride. Wanted to express our gratitude and thank you Mohamed. He really looked after us all, was knowledgeable and funny. We have had a brilliant day.
