A tour of history by a drag, fun + funny-no bore

Lucinda made our tour of Boston more interesting than everything I thought I already knew from living here for decades. Listening to a teacher of history in my school days, was a drag. It was amazing to have details told by “Lady L” in her best Drag wear looking gorgeous. Also, added twists of humor kept my attention!

Super fun& thought provoking history tour!

It was a refreshing way to go down the Freedom Trail! It is a creative way to learn about the new colony and it’s religious struggles from it’s beginning in the 1630’s. I prepared a little beforehand...so we had nice discussions and Anne was great at answering my questions! I love history tours of all kinds and this one is a stand out!

Something different in the best way

So my friend and I visited Boston and were looking for something to do that was “traditional”. I’ve thought about moving to Boston for its history, but often times I feel like as a 30 year old I don’t want to do the “touristy things” on our visit. I saw this tour on Eventbrite and thought the price was right. I wanted to do a tour of the Freedom Trail for information anyways, but do find most tours are bogged with information and I don’t want to do those. I saw this and my friend told me to go ahead and book it. I was hesitant. It ended up being the BEST historic tour I’ve had of any city. I’m a traveler and I really enjoyed the idea of learning history in a way that was off the beaten path. Mean king not the traditional $50 boring tour. This certainly was entertaining and informative. Brent has the knowledge of the character he plays and puts humor in it as well. All other reviews I see are “informative” but I couldn’t find one that was entertaining as well. Worth a tour. Highly recommend.

A new fan of Anne Hutchinson!

Half of my friends say that Boston is boring, so in the interest of finding something cool to do with them, I searched and found this avant-garde theatery journey through history. It’s based on Anne Hutchinson’s story that I’d never heard before, but after this walk through the city you find that her story is still so present it’s unbelievable many don’t know about her. I laughed, I felt uncomfortable (and very comfortable as well), learned, and got hooked on Hutchinson. It’s a wonderfully fun option in downtown Boston. Hope to get my friends on it soon!
