Derek did a great job showing us around and sharing his knowledge about the city. He was also very accommodating and helpful with one person in our group in a wheelchair.

The Dublin Post Office it is one of Ireland's most famous buildings, not least because it served as the headquarters of the leaders of the Easter Rising. It was the last of the great Georgian public buildings erected in the capital.
A memorial garden in Dublin dedicated to the memory of "all those who gave their lives in the cause of Irish Freedom". It is located in the northern fifth of the former Rotunda Gardens in Parnell Square, a Georgian square at the northern end of O'Connell Street.

Derek did a great job showing us around and sharing his knowledge about the city. He was also very accommodating and helpful with one person in our group in a wheelchair.
Very enjoyable and educational. Not only learned about the rebellion but had a great tour of Dublin’s local faborites
Hugh did a wonderful job. Very knowledgeable. He encouraged questions and we covered a lot of ground.
Our tour guide, Keelan, was great. I cannot say enough about how well my wife and I enjoyed his tour. He is a local to the area and had a depth of knowledge for the city’s history and the 1916 rising. Since my wife has difficulties walking too fast, Keelan was very patient and kept the pace slow.
Excellent tour, accompanied with historical facts, analysis and stories, regarding the 1916 Rising. Would highly recommend.
It was really very interesting and an absolute Highlight of out trip to Dublin. It completely transformed our visit. We have become real Ireland fans. The guide was really knowledgable and super pleasant.
Eamon is so knowledgeable and gave us exactly the tour we asked for, and then some. We were interested in the 1916 Easter Rising and he gave us a thorough understanding, took us to key locations and brought along supplementary materials. He's a great guide and natural teacher, and just a lot of fun to be with. He even steered us to a pub with great music at the end of our tour. If we had more time I'd book him again!
Ruairi was an amazing guide. Really enjoyed this tour! Ruairí is very knowledgeable, kind, and really funny! I highly recommend him and this tour. My husband and I have a fairly decent grasp on the Easter rising, he was able to fill in so many blanks. Also, seeing the places where this happened was amazing. Thank you so much!
Best tour we have ever taken. Our tour guide Keelan was knowledgeable, personable and had very valuable insights. I had hoped to learn a bit more about my family’s history and ended up with a fairly complete picture. We started with information about the famine and ended with information about present day Ireland. Walking through Trinity college at graduation was a happy coincidence. Our guide’s ability to describe and explain history and all of its nuances made history come alive. There was so much information that I will need to do the tour again to retain the information! My whole family loved this tour and our tour guide. I would give more stars if I could.
These tours are, I suspect, guide dependent. Ours was an unlicensed guide who was pretty knowledgeable, but did not seem that organized. A lot of our conversation was unrelated to the 1916 topic as well. He was friendly with a good sense of humor, but the tour itself was not much more than we could have done as a self guided audio tour. Given all the five star reviews this tour has had, maybe we just had an off day.
Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad to hear that your guide was friendly and knowledgeable, but we apologize that the tour didn’t meet your expectations. We aim for all of our guides to be organized and focused on the topic at hand, and we will address your concerns with the guide to improve the experience. We understand that you felt the tour lacked the depth and structure you were hoping for, and we appreciate your honest input. We hope you’ll give us another chance in the future for a more tailored experience. Best regards, Withlocals team
