Total waste of time and money
This is a total scam and I would highly recommend not wasting your money or time. The tour guide was nice, but the whole tour was full of lingering stories that were more about the history or Austin than the ghosts. They had a lot of jokes that didn’t land and made things awkward when she would stand there waiting for the group to laugh. Now I understand that this was a bit out of control, but there were tons of interruptions by the homeless population along the route (yelling, screaming, blaring music) and it was hard to keep focused. My friend and I decided to leave early (45 minutes into the 90 minute tour) and not linger on for the whole thing. We requested our money back for the horrible experience but they said no b/c we “didn’t stay for the whole tour”
Save your money for the legitimate local ghosts tours in the city or do your own research and visit the places on your own.

Ghost tour Austin
Fun experience in Austin. Went for my hubbies bday. Not the best tour we’ve done but definitely entertaining.

Not worth the money
It’s very lack luster. Thought we’d get to go inside interesting buildings but we just stood outside. And our host was sweet but not a great story teller. The only plus was it got us on sixth street so we nailed after 5 “stories” and had a nice time afterwards.

No show guides
The tour guide never showed up. Myself and seven other people were at the meeting location and no one showed up. I ended up calling the Customer service line to be told that the guide would not be coming and that I have to reach out to Viator to get a refund.
This is frustrating since I paid for round-trip Ubers to get to the meeting location and back to my hotel and I gave up other plans to stand in the middle of the street waiting for a guide that never showed up.

An enjoyable evening
David was extremely knowledgeable of all the deadly history of the sites we visited and easily answered additional questions.

Just a long walk…
Our tour guide was very nice, but she walked around with a fan because it was so hot out. In the meantime, we never walked into any buildings to see the history. A stop to actually see inside the building would have been nice, plus it would’ve been a chance to cool off from the scorching heat. I really feel that this tour was a waste of money because we never actually went in and observed the actual places she was talking about. I would not recommend this tour.
