An Exceptional Indian Cooking Class & Lunch
What a wonderful and delicious experience at Saffron Palate! Our Indian cooking class was truly one of the highlights of our time in India.
The experience was warm, welcoming, informative, and incredibly hands-on. We loved learning about the spices, ingredients, techniques, and traditions that make Indian cuisine so extraordinary. Everything was explained beautifully, making the class both educational and great fun.
And then came the best part—enjoying the incredible lunch we helped prepare! Every dish was absolutely delicious, and sharing the meal together made the experience even more special.
A fabulous combination of culture, cuisine, learning, and hospitality. Highly recommend Saffron Palate to anyone visiting India who wants an authentic, memorable, and delicious experience!

A wonderful, personal and authentic Indian cooking experience
I was genuinely impressed with Neha’s cooking class from beginning to end. It was extremely well organized, but at the same time felt relaxed, personal and welcoming.
The teaching kitchen was spotless and well equipped, while still having a homey atmosphere. Each participant had their own cooking station, with a spice box, ingredients and all the equipment we needed already prepared and ready to use. There was also a comfortable lounge area for breaks and a separate dining area where we could sit together and enjoy everything we had cooked.
Neha was an absolute natural as a teacher. She explained everything clearly and at just the right pace, giving us all the information we needed without overwhelming us. She was knowledgeable, patient, friendly and very generous with her insights into Indian cooking, spices and ingredients. I particularly enjoyed being able to pick fresh herbs from her own plants and use them in the dishes.
What really stood out was how attentive Neha was throughout the cooking. She watched what we were doing, offered helpful corrections and advice at exactly the right moments, and showed us how to adjust things when necessary. Her guidance gave us the confidence to get everything right and meant that we were all successful with our dishes. She was also incredibly accommodating to everyone's individual needs. She prepared a special recipe that I had requested, while also adapting recipes for another participant with specific dietary requirements. She managed to do all of this seamlessly, so the class continued to flow naturally and everyone felt included.
Neha was also so helpful beyond the cooking class itself. I wanted to buy some of the ingredients and cooking equipment I had used, and she personally guided me to local markets where I could find them. This made it much easier for me to continue cooking what I had learned once I returned home.
Overall, this was much more than simply following a few recipes. I learned a lot about Indian cooking and ingredients, had a wonderful time, and felt very welcomed into Neha’s kitchen.
I would absolutely do this class again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable Indian cooking experience.

Fantastic cooking class in Drlhi
So enjoyed Neha’s cooking class. She was so welcoming and gave clear instructions when we cooked. She also took us to a local market and helped us pick out a “starter set” of spices for making dishes in her cookbook. Can’t recommend Neha and her class enough. Conversation was relaxed and she was a joy to be around.

8 of my family attended the cooking course in mid July. It was an amazing time and extremely well organised. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it became the talking point of our vacation. Thanks so much and highly recommend

Home cooking 'Indian style'.
We cooked (and subsequently ate) butter chicken with Neha, which provided a real insight into home cooking 'Indian style' and was hugely enjoyable. Neha is not only a highly competent chef but also excellent company. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her.

Highlight of my trip
First rate experience, absolutely recommend. The class de-mystified Indian cuisine. I feel much more confident about preparing dishes. The classroom atmosphere and the dining room are lovely. Neha is an excellent instructor. I hope to take another class with her. Truly the highlight of my visit to New Delhi.

Great Cooking Class!
I learned so much about Indian cooking from Neha and the food we prepared was delicious. Neha explained each step and what we needed to do a when. The class was only four people so we all got to know each other. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon and experience Indian hospitality.
