Our guide, Katerina, was terrific. She was very knowledgeable about Athens. She shared many stories, shared historical information, and shared the mythology around Greece. We ended up in torrential rain, thunder and lightening. She was willing to reschedule but since we didn't have extra time, we took cover and she continued the "tour" using photos on her phone. We ended up having a great "tour" even though we only walked about half of the route. She gave us suggestions on what else we should see around Athens, what neighborhoods to visit, even a couple of her favorite restaurants. Definitely recommend this walking tour to get a better understanding of Athens.
Penelope was an informative and flexible guide, and we covered a lot of ground providing for an excellent intro to the highlights of Athens!
Lucas was an excellent guide! Informative, patient, knowledgeable and pleasant. The tour was a nice overview of Athens and the length and breadth of the tour was perfect. Highly recommended…👍
We had a great tour with Victor. He was very knowledgeable and flexible with our kids who were very hot and tired from a 6a flight. We learned so much and he graciously answered our many questions . I wanted this tour to be a great overview of the city upon our arrival and it really was. Highly recommend
Great experience, the tour and the guide was professional and informative. We experienced more than we could have asked for.
I had a fantastic experience on the Athens city tour with Greg as our guide. He provided insightful commentary on each landmark, bringing the city’s history and culture to life in an engaging way. Greg’s knowledge and enthusiasm made the tour both educational and enjoyable, and the small-group setting allowed for a relaxed pace and personal interactions. Highly recommend Greg for anyone looking to get an enriching overview of Athens!
It was a nice and informative walk through Athens. We've seen a lot of beautiful things. Our guide arrived on time and he was totally nice. He gave us time for photo stops. I would recommend the tour to anyone! Exploring Athens on foot is better than taking a city tour by bus.
This was supposed to be a small group tour but the other family cancelled so it ended up being just Gregory, my amazing tour guide, and myself. I felt really bad, just getting paid from one person wasn’t worth his time and I was fine to cancel, but he insisted. We ended up having an amazing time viewing everything. I learned and saw so much including areas full of tourists and quieter areas all to ourselves that I would never have known about. Just again have to emphasize how wonderful Gregory was with me leading a tour of 1!
Christina is amazing! She is an Athens native, and grew up right there in the city. Her knowledge of the history and local off-the-beaten-path sights gave us the most authentic and immersive Athens experience that we could have gotten. Afterwards, she sent us a list of local restaurants and bars to try, depending on our mood. Thank you Christina!
