Your Sunset & Stargazing Safari begins with a comfortable, climate-controlled coach pick-up from one of our convenient hotel collection points across South Tenerife. Settle in and enjoy the journey as our expert guides bring Teide National Park to life. Pick-up times vary throughout the year. We’ll confirm your exact time the day before your tour (or on the morning of the tour for Tuesday departures).
Your destination is Restaurante 7 Cañadas in La Orotava. Set high in the heart of Teide National Park at 2,130 metres above sea level, it’s more than a restaurant - it’s your gateway to the stars. Enjoy a delicious Canarian dinner with drinks while taking in panoramic views across vast volcanic plains, sculpted lava fields, and the dramatic contours of Tenerife’s most iconic landscape.
After dinner, the sky begins its quiet transformation. Soak up the romance of a sunset above the Sea of Clouds. Raise a glass of chilled cava (or orange juice) as the sky ignites with colour and the sun melts into the shadow of Mount Teide - Spain’s highest peak at 3,718 metres - its silhouette both powerful and serene against the fading light.

Free pick-up and return service is provided from South Tenerife ONLY. We will message you on or before the morning of your tour with your exact pick-up time and details. If you do NOT receive a WhatsApp message before midday on the day of your tour, something has gone wrong — please contact us immediately so we can help. If you are staying in a different area, please message us in advance so we can arrange a meeting point not listed. We will always do our best to accommodate your request. Please note: The language on the bus is ENGLISH ONLY. Our translators meet us on site, and the main stargazing presentation can be delivered in your selected language. Don’t worry — you won’t miss anything! They will catch you up on anything the English guide mentions during the bus journey.

A fantastic experience from pick up to drop off! My husband, 9 year old daughter and myself all had a few wow moments. The knowledge and information the guys have was absolutely 1st class. I was worried my 9 year old would find it fun at 1st but then get fed up, but I couldnt have been more wrong. The guys kept everyone intrested and lots of humour in the mix. The food was tasty and the watching of the sunset on the lava fields started the whole evening on memorable moment, then came the main event! Amazing doesnt come close to what you can see through the telescopes. Safe to say my daughter now has a new intrest in astronomy and on top of her christmas list is a telescope and a trip to chilie 😂.. thanks Craig. Great value for money and an experience to remember.
The Teide Stargazing tour was the highlight of our trip! It was really convenient to have lots of pick up points along the way as not to have to trek too far to reach the coach. Once on the coach, Craig was our guide. He really friendly and informative giving lots of fun facts and tidbits as we journeyed up. The views are absolutely spectacular! Once we reached the restaurant we were provided with a three course meal with alcohol which was included in the price- we were really impressed with what good value for money this was. After eating we had the option to watch the sunset on the restaurant terrace or walk out onto the lava fields, we chose the latter. The scenery is breathtaking! Coats were provided but I would still advise to dress a bit more warmly as it does get quite cold once the sun goes down. As night fell we returned to the restaurant terrace where the telescopes were set up. Another member of the team Kieron took over a the main astrological guide. He gave very interesting and informative talks about what we’re looking at before inviting everyone up to peer through the scopes. The only word is ‘WOW’ for how beautiful the stars were and how much detail you can see through the scope. Finally pictures were taken on the terrace under the nights sky before heading back to the coach and descending. These pictures are send out via link the next day, all for free, which again amazing value for money. If there’s one thing I would absolutely recommend you do in Tenerife, this would be it hands down!
We had an amazing evening. The guides were very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Would highly recommend. It was also great they had a kids meal option of nuggets and chips.
Our Night Skies tour was an unforgettable experience. Everything was organised to perfection - we were picked up by an air-conditioned coach and enjoyed a fun journey up the mountain. This take roughly an hour and twenty minutes including a few hotel stops. You will be blown away by the lava fields and landscape as you head up the mountain. We enjoyed a dinner at the restaurant once we arrived. We also enjoyed a welcome drink upon arrival. The stargazing experience was the highlight of our tour. We were completely in awe - surrounded by a blanket of stars and the occasional shooting star. It does get cold up the mountain, so be sure to bring warm clothing. They do provide puffer jackets, if needed. Later on into the evening, we had a hot chocolate too! The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and were happy to answer any questions. Overall, this is an experience not to be missed!
Absolutley amazing experience, we went as a group of 8 and we all said how much we loved it! Pick up and dinner was really easy to organise and was all sorted through the booking. Kieran, was great, and provided any points of interest as driving up mount teide, with amazing views. The highlight was definitely seeing the milky way and shooting stars! Highly recommend to everyone! Thank you again 💫⭐️

We had a wonderful night, Lee our guide was so knowledgeable from pick up he shared lots of facts on Mount Teide. We loved the sunset views and star gazing was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
