Description
This Tapas Tour is your crash course in how Seville actually eats. This is your most popular tour, and the one we recommend to anyone visiting Seville for the first time. If you don't know anything about tapas or Spanish food, or you already know your tapas but want to discover the real places where Sevillians eat, this is your adventure.
After meeting your guide in the heart of the city, you will experience the full arc of Seville’s food culture in a 2.5-hour journey. 3-4 stops with 4 drinks and +12 tastings, everything included. From a local tavern with ibérico product and cheese to a neighbourhood tapas bar with all the classics and some modern bites, to a proper Andalusian freiduría, ending at a sit-down market bar with featuring exceptional tuna products caught using ancient techniques. All paired with a proper local wine, beer, or what your guide recommends.
You will leave with a handful of favorite spots to return, plus extra recommendations from your local guide.

Itinerary
Iglesia de San Juan de la Palma
10 min
Your guide will be waiting for you at Calle San Juan de la Palma (square behind the church), in front of the pharmacy. They will be using a blue Bites tote bag or wear a Bites shirt.
30 min
This is where the evening begins: a proper local abacería, the kind with no tourist menus and locals eating at the counter. Your guide introduces you to tapas culture and the Sevillian way of eating: standing up, sharing, taking your time. Cold drink in hand, something salty on the plate.
45 min
A classic neighbourhood bar that's been doing its thing for decades. This stop is all about the classics and modern tapas of Seville, the kind of bites you won't find on any tourist menu, at a place cherished by locals that visit everyday.
Calle De Feria
15 min
No food tour in Seville is complete without a stop at a proper freiduría. We visit one of the best on Calle Feria, where the fish goes straight from the market into the oil, served in a paper cone the Andalusian way. Crispy, light and absolutely worth the wait.
Mercado De La Feria
35 min
We finish the evening the way any Sevillian would: sitting down at a market bar for the most comforting round of the night. Slow-cooked stews, Seville's most iconic dishes, and a proper dessert to close. The moment most guests say they could stay for hours (and you're free to do so after the tour ends!).

Exceptional Private Food & Wine Tour – David & Selu are Culinary Masters in Seville!
If you are looking for an authentic, high-end, and impeccably organized culinary experience in Seville—especially for a corporate team or group—look no further than Bites. We booked a private evening experience for a group of 18 colleagues, and David and Selu delivered an absolute masterclass from start to finish.
Our goal was to avoid touristy traps and enjoy a proper, multi-course dinner replacement while leaving plenty of time for the team to network. David and Selu struck the perfect 50/50 balance between sharing fascinating local culinary insights and giving our team space to socialize naturally.
The venue progression and curated dishes were phenomenal:
Pez Globo by Tradevo: An incredible opening stop featuring delicious Payoyo and Manchego cheeses, rich Jamón Ibérico, lemon-marinated anchovies, and marinated sardine toast.
Cervecería Salmedina: A true highlight! Knowing they operate their own fishing fleet meant the catch of the day was exceptionally fresh, alongside fantastic heirloom tomatoes and prawn Russian salad.
Casa Robles: A classic, rich finish featuring tender rabo de toro (oxtail) stew, Iberian pork shoulder in oloroso wine sauce, and melt-in-your-mouth 100% acorn-fed Jamón Ibérico.
What truly set Bites apart was their incredible communication and attention to detail beforehand. Managing dietary requirements for a large group can often be tricky, but David and Selu catered to our vegetarian and specific pescatarian team members effortlessly—providing thoughtful, high-end dishes (like fresh sea bream, truffle pappardelle, and tempura asparagus) rather than an afterthought salad.
Topped off with excellent regional wine pairings at every stop and great assistance in setting up our post-tour rooftop drinks, the whole evening ran seamlessly. The entire team hasn't stopped talking about it since.
Thank you, David and Selu, for making our Seville event so memorable. We will definitely be back!

More like an evening out with a local friend than a tour
We had such a great evening with David on this tapas tour. From the beginning, he made us feel very comfortable and the whole experience felt more like going out for tapas with a local friend than being on an organised tour.
David was warm, easy to talk to and clearly knows Sevilla very well. We went to places we probably would never have discovered on our own, tried different local tapas, and along the way learned a little more about the food, the traditions and life in Sevilla. Add a bit of history of Spain too. Nothing felt rushed or overly scripted, which we really appreciated.
We were also surprised to learn that this is still a start-up tour outfit. You wouldn’t know it from the experience. In fact, being a smaller and newer operation probably added to the personal attention we received. You can tell David genuinely wants his guests to enjoy themselves rather than simply ticking off stops on an itinerary.
After several days of travelling around Spain, this was one of those evenings that reminded us why food tours can be such a good way to get to know a city.
If you’re in Sevilla and enjoy good food, good conversation and discovering places through someone who actually lives here, give David and this young company a try. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would happily recommend them.
Wishing David and the team every success. They deserve it.
