Description
Your driver and wine tour guide will take you to the best wine experiences at a variety of Tamar Valley cellar doors. We include lunch with wine. Our wine tours are fully inclusive and have repeatedly been awarded excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. We increase wine tasting pleasure by telling the backstory of the region, its vineyards and winemakers. Our group size is usually 8 guests or less with solo travellers and groups welcome. All guests must be at least 18 years of age.

We visit 3 to 4 vineyards and we include Tasmanian produce platter lunch with premium Tamar Valley wine. We provide a roundtrip from your Launceston location and provide commentary about the history and wine region of Tasmania with a focus on the Tamar Valley.

Pleasantly surprised
Well organise and on time. Terry knows everything about the region just ask him. Swinging gate was the favourite.

Amazing Day
A wonderful day of great wine, laughs and informative chat with both our hosts and Terry our driver/guide. Absolutely well worth the cost. Lunch at Moore Hill Estate was amazing. Thanks to. Everyone at Tamar Ridge, Swinging Gate and Hinton Bay and of course Moores Hill Estate.

Wow!
What a wonderful day. Terry was our tour guide and he was so full of impressive wine knowledge. We enjoyed many wines tastes and incredible hosts at each of the cellar doors. It felt like we were there as friends of the hosts particularly at the Swinging Gate vineyard and Hinton Bay where we sat in their dinning room tasting amazing wines. The food and wine at Moores Hill Estate were delicious and filling. And Grace at Tamar Ridge chatted to us about life in Launceston as well as the wine and the wine industry. All in all an incredible experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

Different wines.
Terry was an excellent guide and driver. We enjoyed our visits to four cellar doors and enjoyed the wines which were pleasant variations on the fare we are used to at home.

Enjoyable day out
I had a very enjoyable day, helped by glorious sunshine! There aren't many day trips from Launceston which don't go a long way away and this fit the brief very well. Terry drove us well - we were 10 people; apart from introductory remarks at each winery he left the bulk of the talk to the wineries. A nice selection of wineries with several grape varieties to those that concentrated on the Big 2. We had a very nice platter lunch at the second winery. It was unrushed and very enjoyable.

Tamar wine
Really fun and enjoyable experience highly recommend you don't need to be whine enthusiast to have a really great time our host Terry was a wonderful tour guide and the people we were on the tour with were fun and friendly not to mention the really beautiful settings that we got to see and the knowledgeable hosts at each vineyard we visited. It was certainly a five-star experience.

Amazing differences experienced
Biggest regret is not buying at Velo as fomo got the best. Please, please buy the Gris from Velo, there were non better and I was stupid! Don’t make my mistake
