Start with the iconic Pork Bun, filled with savory soup, before exploring the lively Shida Night Market. Savor local delights like tofu skin and Spring Onion bacon roll. Try the best crispy Taiwanese Fried Chicken. Stroll through the University district and vibrant Yongkang St, a paradise offering the best food and Bubble Teas. Don’t miss Lu Rou Fan, the beloved Braised Pork Rice, and Tainan-style Meatballs with Shrimps, in a special sauce. Try a Taiwanese Scallion Pancake with egg and basil, then end on a sweet note with Tofu Pudding topped with tapioca pearls and brown sugar. Itinerary
We meet up and introduce ourselves right in front of the metro, before going to explore our first Stops.
We'll have a look at the small local vendors and we'll start talking about the city of Taipei and Taiwan. Then we go for our first 2 bites!
We'll see what's so special about this place and have some more food right in the Heart of Shida Night Market: highly recommended booking this at night time too, but either way works great!
Right after having another fun bite, we'll dive into the local culture by taking a look at the future, walking through its National University.
We'll have a fun walk on this super cute street and try more dishes all around it. Even our Secret Dish!
We'll end our Secre Food Tours Taipei here with something sweet, next to this station allowing you to easily go anywhere in Taipei.

This was a GREAT food tour, truly one of the best, particularly for value, that I’ve done! Food was delicious and plentiful, but I also loved all of the great background knowledge Julie gave! She was wonderful and so very knowledgeable!
