Table Mountain Hike via Kasteels Poort Trail

Description
Hike to the summit of Table Mountain, one of the world's most iconic landmarks and one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of Nature. Beyond its breathtaking views, the mountain is renowned for its extraordinary biodiversity. Discover the unique fynbos vegetation of the Cape Floral Kingdom, the smallest yet richest of the world's six floral kingdoms. This remarkable ecosystem is home to a dazzling variety of endemic plants, including proteas, ericas, and restios found nowhere else on Earth. Keep an eye out for the elusive Table Mountain Ghost Frog, a rare species endemic to the mountain's streams and seeps. Along the way, you'll also pass the remains of the original cableway infrastructure, a reminder of Table Mountain's rich history. One of the highlights is the famous Diving Board, a dramatic rock outcrop that extends over the mountainside and offers unforgettable photo opportunities for those comfortable with heights.

Thanks to Patrick, we got to experience the Table Mountain in a manner we would have never done on our own. We went up the calm Kasteelspoort route, where we barely saw any people at all. Via Platteklip Gorge we went down again, which was clearly a more popular route, giving the amount of people we encountered there. Patrick took the time for us, explained interesting facts and gave fun anecdotes. We were happy by the route he recommended to us, because we enjoyed the experience a lot and definitely want to recommended this trip to anyone who considers seeing the Table Mountain up close. Patrick, thanks again!
Hi Rick, many thanks to you for having booked the Table Mountain hike with me. Until next visit take care.
Patrick was prompt with contacting to arrange the trip in the first place. He was clear with information and felt reliable. He was friendly and knowledgeable on the tour. He gave lots of information about the area, flowers, animals and locals along the way and he let us walk at a pace which was comfortable. I didn't feel pressure to speed up or like he was unapproachable. He helped with transport afterwards and also gave recommendations for another tour guide the next day when he was unavailable. I'd definitely recommend using this service again!
Hi Mary Thank-you so much for your feedback, hope you safe and family.
We did a 4.5 hour hike of table mountain Patrick was excellent - a genuinely lovely guy, with strong local knowledge, and a professional and courteous attitude. Very reasonably priced also. Would wholeheartedly recommend; doubt you would find a more genuine, friendly and reasonable guide
