Watching the sunset over Sydney Harbour from the water was simply stunning. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Sydney — it was definitely a highlight for both of us!

Very nice cruise around the harbor. Good views from the water to the Opera House and the bridge. 2 hours is too much and trip will be better with non stops.

Was wonderful. Exceeded our expectations. Weather and views were perfect and the team was great on the boat
Everyone says you must do a harbour cruise in Sydney and they are right. It's a great way to appreciate the landscape and geography of the area with a new perspective. The only thing I would change on this cruise is to opt for a live commentary. This is only because as visitors to Australia we didn't have data on our phones so we didn't download the commentary. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience.

We booked for the 5pm Cocktail cruise which included 1 cocktail (from a choice of 4), a house beer, wine or soft drink to follow and a small cheese board. All other drinks were an additional charge. We wanted to order other food to accompany the cheese board but unfortunately it wouldn't allow it through the app (which you have to scan a QR code to access). While you are allocated a section hostess, ours went for a dinner break and couldn't ask him to order extra foods which is not a big deal but we would have liked to. However, it was a lovely simple cruise around the harbour, the staff were nice and easy to talk to. Wonderful photo opportunities as it was evening, we had all the wonderful sunset colours. Thank you.
I took the sunset cruise and I had really the worst experience ever with their service. I was being help by an Indian girl ( I did not get her name ) and she did not gave our table any foods at all, but other tables were being served. And I had asked couple of times, and the food came very late….Then I called another waiter named RYAN, even he talked back to me saying that it’s not up to the waiter, but up to the kitchen……I did not like his attitude and his words….He should be more train how to handle any customers. Then the cruise director ( her name is IDA — I don’t know if that’s her real name ). She did not even apologized and only gave a compliment of 2 plates of french fries. Thank you very much for the compliments but I was already unhappy with the trip as they treated us unfairly. Hopes they all get a warning ( even fired ) from the company, so in the future, it won’t happen to other customers. I had been email this issue to their company directly, but they only replied two times ( twice ) with unclear answers and afterwards they just ignored me with no reply at all. My complaint was taken by DEEPA ( Reservations Manager Sydney Harbour ). Thank you
It could have been wonderful. The staff was friendly and the drinks were good, but the ship was infested with cockroaches. My husband and I killed two, but saw them running all around. Yuck.
Hi Miryam, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your Sydney Cocktail Harbour Bar Cruise. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the drinks and found our staff friendly. We do want to flag some context around the description of the vessel as "infested," however. As a business, we operate rigorous pest control protocols and daily cleaning regimes across the fleet, and like all food and hospitality operators, we're subject to regular inspection. An isolated insect sighting is not indicative of an infestation, nor is it typical of our vessels — the photo shared alongside this review shows a single insect, and we don't think it's reasonable for that to be characterised as an infestation. That said, we don't dismiss the experience you had, and we understand seeing any insect onboard is unpleasant. We've noted your feedback and will continue our regular pest control and cleaning checks as a matter of course. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we'd welcome the chance to have you back onboard for a better experience. Kind regards, Captain Cook Cruises
The ride was a perfect way for my elderly father to view the harbor without having to walk. It was a nice relaxing family activity. The charcuterie board and the complimentary cocktails were of good quality and tasted great!
They should know that it sets off from Darling Harbour and then arrives in Circular Quay. It eventually sets off and arrives back in Darling Harbour. I would have like information about where we were at any given time. Staff were fine & brought our charcuterie and drinks in good time. It didn't get off to the best start, due to an announced medical incident. Overall a more hands on service would have improved the experience.
Going at night was wonderful. Super to see all of the lights and you can easily see how far back the city goes. The buildings in Sydney are iconic!
