Surf Lesson

Having lived in Cornwall all my life it was quite a surprise to find myself heading for my first surf lesson at 40 something (thank you best friend). Our instructor E was patient, friendly and encouraging without being too pushy. His instructions were clear and well thought out and before we knew it we were in the water, quite feisty water at that! We had a lovely morning with E and can highly recommend him. I can't comment on value for money as ot was a present but I should think money well spent

Had the best surf lesson ever! I finally managed to tear up the knarly surf and pop a few shakkas all thanks to the wonderful surf instructor Zedrick Binx (Joe Smith but in surf mode hes known as Zedrick or Zeddy). What an amazing experience with a great school and amazing instructor! He kept it totally proffesh all the way through despite me popping up on some serious surf! Shakkaaa ma dude zeddy B whapow kapash! Definitely going to come back to learn more from Joe, he's a wave master! #ZeddyyyyyB

My instructor was a guy called Joey, he was so patient very knowledgeable and very calm. He was really good at looking after each member of the group and was providing tips and tricks throughout. Made for a great experience and would definitely book again.

Joey took a group lesson that my wife and I were part of, and he was fantastic. He was kind, friendly and made the whole session really fun and relaxed. My wife was quite nervous going into the lesson, but Joey put her at ease straight away and made sure everyone felt comfortable and involved. We both really enjoyed the session and would definitely come back for another lesson. Highly recommended

I've been to the women's surf weekend led by Rosa and Joe and could not have had a better experience! They were really respectful and encouraging and it felt like a very personal coaching even being in a group! Everyone got along very well and we all went home so excited to keep surfing and wanting to come back next year!

I had a great time on my surf lesson with E at Quiksilver last month, he was really attentive and gave great feedback to help me progress! Would ask for him next time :)

joe was great fun and made it an unforgettable experience

We have just had a 2 hour improver session and absolutely loved every second. We did the beginner session last year and booked again with Quicksilver Surf School for our return visit. Everything was brilliantly organised and friendly from booking a couple of months ago to turning up today and getting kitted out and ready. Our instructor for the session was Eion how was absolutely awesome. Very knowledgeable and made time for everyone during the session. After an intro refresher on standing he then went through some other skills to try like a second way of popping up and how to start turning on the wave . Over the course of the lesson he had loads of advice which was very tailored to what he had seen you do. Everyone stood and he even got me to turn on the board. Very patient with the kids and got my daughter standing regularly even though she was a little hesitant at first. Can’t recommend enough. See you in a couple of days!!

We had this lesson as part of our hotel package. Customer service was great as were all the staff we met; very polite and friendly. Our instructor, E, was great. Competent, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was great with our kids (11 and 9) and both stood up quickly and caught some great waves thanks to his tuition.
