SUP Paddle Board Rentals

Me and my friend decided to book 2 paddle boards with paddleboard rentals and we arrived at the checkpoint specified on the map and was looking for the paddleboard rental for a long time and it was only until after someone in The café opposite us that he hadn’t been there all day we left and had to pay for a different paddle boarding experience, even though we had already booked with paddle boarding rentals. I am utterly disgusted with his poor manner and lack of communication and I would not recommend anyone that they would book with this man, I messaged him two days prior to our booking to confirm a few details. I was unsure of didn’t hear anything back from him and I still haven’t heard back from him. I will be requesting a refund as I was completely shocked by the lack of professionalism.

I think this place might be a scam. I received a text from 'Dimitar' a few days before, confirming that he was part of the ocean activities team and that he was our paddle board instructor. However, the night before we were meant to go paddle boarding, Dimitar told me that he had gone into hospital with appendicitis and that we could arrange another day to paddle board. I felt very sorry for him but it was also our last day, so I asked if we could just be refunded instead, which he said he would do for us, saying he would 'call Viator (not sure who this is) and cancel the reservation'. He even sent a photograph as 'proof' he was in hospital. A week later we had not received our refund, nor an email confirming that we had cancelled the reservation, so I politely asked if he was able to get a refund. He read it very fast and did not respond. Another week went past and so I wrote another text, reiterating the need for a refund as I am a student. He has not even read this message but I can see he is active on whatsapp. If there is no refund after this review goes up then I believe this experience is a scam and I would like to report the company as such.

Super attentive, available and concerned. The best option for you want to do Paddle in Cascais. Experience to repeat every year, no doubt.

Me and my family had the most amazing time. We loved the experience and the staff were amazing. The kids went for a surf lesson and they loved it. Dimitar was super patience and very friendly with the kids. We will definitely return this summer.

I went alone, but I realized that also the couples, and people with children, were all taking advantage of the place, the support from the team, and doing an outdoor activity with a beautiful sunny day ☀️, which does very well to anyone's day. This school is simply spectacular! I went with two other friends to take a sup paddle class and I loved it! The teachers are super professional and attentive. Experience to repeat without a doubt!! :)
