Description
Set sail into the golden hues of sunset on the 125' Schooner Liberty Clipper. This 2-hour adventure lets you glide through the tranquil waters while soaking in views of the harbor views and local wildlife from a spacious deck. Feel the wind in your hair as you help raise the sails or take a turn at the helm, all while admiring the stunning craftsmanship of this traditional tall ship. You're welcome to bring any snacks and food you want, however all drinks consumed onboard must be purchased from our onboard bar.

After boarding the vessel, guests are invited to grab a drink at our onboard bar and sit back while we head into Port Jefferson Harbor. After leaving the dock, we invite everyone to help raise the sails and take a turn at the helm. Once the sails are up, we head out of the channel into Long Island Sound.

A quick rain half hour before sailing had us worried but luckily it cleared and made for a gorgeous sunset cruise last night!! Captain and Crew were all fantastic, very informative and knowledgeable made for a fun night out!!! Champagne and a sunset sail - we’ll be back!! Would definitely recommend.
My wife and I took the sunset sail recently. Very knowledgeable and friendly crew, the ship was great and the drinks were reasonably priced. A great way to spend an evening.

Beautiful night out sailing on this magnificent Vintage sailing vessel. It was nice to have bar service on board and we bought a few snacks along for the trip. Crew was amazing ,and allowed us to help with the sails which is a bit harder than some people may think , participation is voluntary , but pulling sails is not for everyone . Dress appropriately it’s cooler on the water -layers recommended. A perfect night of relaxing sea breezes and tranquility. The Vessel is large enough to accommodate a large group so we didn’t feel crowded . I highly recommend and may go again this season . Great addition to Port Jefferson Harbor , once a home for ship building in the 19th and 20th century.
My spouse and I first set sail with the Liberty Clipper in the latter part of June. We met and spoke with Zoe One of the ships captains to discuss and explore scheduling a ship date. Zoe was very friendly, welcoming and express true enthusiasm when discussing her ship and its many attributes. The day we shelled out we were greeted a friendly, welcoming and witty crew that all shared their love for sailing and the Open Sea. Once on board the Captain introduced themselves and crew members, a safety briefing and than customers are asked to volunteer to divide into two teams and competively assist in raising the mass (optional, but highly recommend it for abled bodies). Right off the bat customers engage in a team building breaking the ice event. Non-Alcoholic and alcoholic drinks can be purchased on board as well as light snacks. The crew was approachable, amicable and enthusiastic about sharing their story and experiences regarding selling and the actual ship. My wife and I had such a wonderful time that we scheduled another sale date on August 22nd to celebrate my mother's birthday along with family and friends. We highly recommend setting sale with the Liberty Clipper for wonderful evening with positive, amicable staff, pleasant customers and to enjoy the beauty of the Long Island Sound. HOOAH. 1
The boat and its crew curate a very special and incredible experience I won’t forget. A beautiful sunset, super friendly crew, a full bar, and amazing sailing. One of them even looks like Jack Sparrow.

This was an exceptional experience, I have always wanted to sail on a boat like this and it exceeded my expectations. The crew are incredible, the boat is gorgeous and the onboard was a delight - I highly recommend the Dark' n Stormy. The price is more than reasonable - you definitely get your moneys worth for this experience.
