Sunset boat trip on the Bosphorus and Golden Horn

Honestly such a scam - in the description you'll read "live guide", that they accept max groups of 30 people and that kids have to be minimum 4 y.o...In reality this is a 100+ people ferry with a recorded guide in oversound (not even with headphones!) in EN, RU, IT, SP, DE and FR meaning that depending on your language you might be hearing about Topkapi Palace whilst you're already deep in the Golden Horn. There were families with literal new borns on board (which is fine, but not as advertised) and the boarding experience was akin to migrants trying to leave a city on the last boat out - people running, pushing and shoving to squeeze through a narrowly open gate where they "checked" your ticket. Once on board they will try to sell you everything - from rental blankets for 100 TRY to smoothies, watermelon, pancakes and even a whole photoshoot. It is advertised as two hours long but our actually run at almost three by the time you get to the docking point, all the way up the Bosphorus and back. So yeah, do it, but not with this provider. For the experience you're much better off doing the €5 ferry.

Booked tickets online. Meeting point was very close by and tour guide was very helpful and did a fantastic job in guiding a large group to the destination. The cruise itself was lovely, food on board was great and family had an enjoyable time. Would definitely recommend this visit during your stay.

A one-hour walk in the morning and another at sunset is magical to see and experience in both ways!

An incredible place. The Bosphorus Strait divides Asia from Europe into Türkiye. The tour lasts an hour and a half and we see several buildings in the area.

We booked a tour for maximum 30 people, and enemies up being herded like sheep walking through Istanbul to a bus to be able to get to a boat that had at least 200 people in it… it was like a market, loud and very noisy (sometimes you couldn’t even listen to the explanation on the speaker… not really what we signed up for

It’s was nice, but would have been nicer if we had an individual headphones. We could have had a bit more explanation about the sighting on the way back

For the price very good, the organisation to get on the boat was a bit muddled. But once on the boat it was a long tour for a good price. Don’t expect much from the commentary its sporadic and they spend more time talking about the on board concessions. It’s not a live tour guide but a recording. But its a good price and you seem most of the sights so go in with your eyes open and its good value.
