Sun Buggy Tour

This is such a great day out! The staff is so professional and friendly and made sure that all of us had an amazing time. We had the perfect amount of time at the Botanical gardens. The tequila tasting was fun and very imformative. The beach stop at Mismaloya beach was also delightful! Great food and then a trip out on the water to see Los Arcos and turtles! We chose not to snorkle, but could easily have. The entire day was well planned and executed! Thank you TEAM! you are awesome, and I will look forward to doing this each time I am in Puerta Vallarta!

Very professional company with friendly operators and guides. Tour is well organized & efficient. They made it worry free & fun! Loved the Botonical Gardens & Tequila Tasting! The cars are very fun to drive!

Great job to the team!!! We travelled with elderly parents 80 and 75 with mobility issues (they usually walk with a cane slowly). The team took absolutely great care of all Of us. They had a guide car, fuel truck and mechanic in case someone broke down. Note you must be able to drive a standard. I drove my dad and my hubby drove with my mom! They guide you through traffic and take pics along the way!! We loved the entire experience Botanical gardens were gorgeous we wished we had just a little more time there. Tequila tasting was great! It is along a river! A few favs for sure! Nice to see the country side on the drive! The beach and dinner was also very good! Drinks were pricy at the restaurant on the beach. (They were not included with the meal or water. Just bring your own bottle of water). Then they take you snorkelling near los Arcos or you can sit on Mismaloya beach! Win win. Great job team if your looking for a little adventure this is a great way to go! We all loved it! Thank you Sunbuggys!!!! Puerto Vallarta!

We had so much fun! They took great care of us ! We enjoyed every stop. I would definitely recommend the tour, we had a great time.

I would whole heartedly recommend doing the sun buggy tour with these guys. Chrystian and Chino took us out in the buggies and we had the most brilliant of days. The journey out of Puerto Vallarta was great fun and we loved hearing the sounds of the jungle on our way to the botanical gardens. There was just enough time in the gardens to grab our welcome drink, make a toilet stop and have a small look around. The tequila factory was the next stop and the host there was great fun and we really enjoyed. Another short drive took us to Mismaloya with a walk to the beach cafe and some amazing lunch and then came the brilliant boat ride and snorkelling with tropical fish. This truly was the best experience we could have hoped for, our teenage daughters and us all enjoyed the whole day. I really hoped this would live up to all the amazing reviews and it really did. I would definitely do this again if we get the opportunity to return.

We booked this tour as our cruise excursion. Initially we were worried we would not be able to make it in time but Cristian and the rest of the team were very patient and accommodating. If you are stopping by Puerto Vallarta by cruise ship I highly recommend skipping the excursions sold by the cruise and book this one instead. You will skip the big crowds and I felt like I got way more than I what I paid for. We were offered drinks and waters to keep us cool from the beginning as we started our journey to see Los Arcos and do some roadside stall shopping. We then stopped by the Botanical Gardens and had time to walk around and enjoy the sights of nature. After that we were taken to a small tequila factory to do some tequila tasting and I highly enjoyed this even as someone that does not drink. The tour guides were ready to take our orders for lunch as we drove to the beach. Our lunches were ready by the time we arrived and after we were done we were taken on a boat to Los Arcos where we were given an opportunity to snorkel and enjoy the amazing sights and I wish I remembered to take my bathing suit. Along the way the tour guides took plenty of pictures of us and they will share them all with you after the tour. Probably the only warning I have is that the buggies are all stick shift and not automatic. A big thank you to the Sun Buggy group for the enjoyable experience and also for making Puerto Vallarta a place I will definitely return to in the future.

Amazing time with Fidel, and the crew! Rained a little on the ride back but it was still fun, whoever had the aux in our boat knows what’s up, Would do it again! Pictures are free of charge too!

What a fun and exciting way to explore the PV area! Highly recommended.. I thoroughly enjoyed driving around with the converted VW beetle with the open top. A bit of mental effort is required since driving manual transmission is required, but then that’s a big part of the fun! Involved were stops at scenic view points, tropical botanical gardens, tequila tasting, authentic Mexican lunch at the beach, boat trip to sea caves and snorkeling. A full day of activities. Our guide for the day, Christian, was extremely helpful and friendly.

We did this and LOVED!!! LOVED!!!! it. The staff is so friendly and even the ones that did the Tequilla tasting and the beach lunch was awesome. The Boat captain was very nice as well. The supplied us water and paper towels if needed for the humid weather. Even fresh popcorn upon departure. Enjoyed our time with them and would do again if ever in Puerto Vallarta again. Keep in mind that these vehicles that you drive is a manual transmission. Well worth the money.
