Nice tour. Fortunately good weather. Bikes not in the best mechanical shape. 10 bikes on busy streets and in crowds it was difficult to maintain group cohesion. In less busy areas group was easier to control.

Nice tour. Fortunately good weather. Bikes not in the best mechanical shape. 10 bikes on busy streets and in crowds it was difficult to maintain group cohesion. In less busy areas group was easier to control.
Delightful bike tour throughout the city of Edinburgh. The views were amazing and each stop featured information about the area/local history. Gregor was our guide and he was engaging, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. The price was very reasonable and the company was amazing. We accidentally went to the original meeting point and they accommodated us by getting us reconnected with the group after we hustled to the correct start, which is not right off the Royal Mile on East Market. The ride takes a little over 3 hours and has plenty of stops. With the E-Bikes, all levels of riders could participate. You do ride on some inclines and declines as well as cobblestones, so if you have vertigo or issues with equilibrium, this might be tough for you.
Check the meeting point well because Viator sent us an address that was wrong. It was complicated, but after 1 hour we were able to leave. It would have been nice to make more stops and with more explanation.
This e-bike tour is one of the best we have done! It was very scenic and covered a lot of ground in Edinburgh. Our tour guide, Gregor, was delightful and provided interesting history on all the stops made. This company provides good quality bikes and helmet, which as a frequent cyclist I feel should be a requirement. Also we appreciated the small group. We saw one very large bike tour group on our trip and honestly I don’t feel that can possibly be a fun experience or a safe one. Gregor did an excellent job of leading our group and kept us safe! We especially loved the Dean’s village stop, the Leith waterway, and the King Arthur's seat views! I highly recommend this tour , you won’t be sorry you book it!
Gregor was safe, attentive.knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Great sceneries and history. Not too long or short.
we had a message that our meeting place changed, I acknowledged it via the chat. went there and no one showed, messaged twice 15 minutes before the tour, and tried calling the phone number. Received no follow up. So I asked for a refund.
Hi we are very sorry you missed the tour. By 9.30 in the Arches end of East Market Street (with no cars parked) there was nine of our clients on the tour riding Ebikes up and down road. The guide kept an eye on the meeting point (opposite to Premier Inn / Costa coffe.) were he was till 09.25 Hrs. The tour left at 09.45 and unfortunately no calls were received informing us you where there. We received a message from you at 09.43 but as the guide was briefing the group prior to the start was opened later. You were then reported as no show and offered to join the tour the following day free of charge . Not sure your review stating in details events however as a good gesture we will process the full refund. Regards The Team
Once we found the location the tour was outstanding. Gregor was a great guide. Very easy to follow on the streets and full of interesting information
Had a great time riding with friends through the many sites of Edinburgh. Meeting point was easy to find at a nice coffee shop by the bike shop. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of history. Especially enjoyed the ride to Arthur's Seat, and riding on the Water of Leith pathway. The traffic is a bit confusing when you are not used to being on the opposite side of the road but our guide did a great job keeping us together and explaining exactly how we were going to cross and proceed at the busy intersections. I highly recommend this tour.
So glad we took this excursion. We had unbelievably good weather. You get a different look at the major Edinburgh sights. There are a few hills along the way (the day you are always going uphill in town) but the e-bikes make it a breeze. Gregor was a great guide.
This is the best way to get out and see the city, such a perfect idea of the first day in the city. It gives you a great idea of the city layout. There is a historical facts/insights along the way if you are into it. You probably are if you’re in Edinburgh. I liked being able to get through so many neighborhoods and out to the water. It helped me plan the rest of my stay. Owner and the other guide were so lovely.
