Played Sherlock Holmes Strasbourg with boys (10y&12y). Game was fun and working well. Would definitely recommend for families, not so much if you are a group of adults. The game uses an app to navigate to certain spots in the city, where you get puzzles and information you need to solve the murder mystery. The puzzles use some elements of the location you are at, but the game itself has nothing to do with the city. Not a problem for us. The boys enjoyed the game and meanwhile we had a change to see a bit of the city. During the game you are taking some pictures. We hoped those would be saved in the app, that wasn't the case. You can share the photo when you've just taken it, but not after the game (and you can't go back once you go to the next part of the game)
Hi there, Thank you for your detailed review and for playing our Sherlock Holmes game in Strasbourg! Great to hear your boys enjoyed the experience and that it worked well for your family 😊 We understand your point about the balance between family-friendliness and adult challenge this is something we continuously try to improve across our games. Thanks also for your feedback on the city integration. We aim to combine storytelling with exploration, and your input helps us make that connection stronger. Regarding the photos: they are actually stored in your personal album after the game 😊 You’re right though that reviewing or accessing them during or immediately after gameplay isn’t as smooth as it could be, this is valuable feedback and something we’re working on improving. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience, and we hope to welcome you again in another city!
