Strasbourg City Sightseeing Private Guided Tour including Cathedral Visit

Our next destination during our European Vacay was Strasbourg a quaint town on the Alsace which is called, the Christmas Capital of the world, and as our agenda to visit Strasbourg was in the winter during the Christmas season, there were dozens of holiday markets and fairs with food, drinks, handcrafted goods, and many decorated Christmas trees with twinkling lights around the town, hence this city has been named as the Christmas Capital of the world, Set on the Rhine, Strasbourg is one of the finest medieval towns in Northeast France. It's also one of the most photogenic places you can visit in Alsace. With its historical monuments and striking architectures and the city's finest building Notre-Dame Cathedral, which is definitely one of the best Cathedral i have ever seen. it was definitely a place worth the visit. We were staying at Hotel Vendome which was just opposite the Railway station, we had a very good view of this small quaint town. We enjoyed walking around this quaint town and the various holiday markets and fairs and trying the various types of food, cakes and delicious wines being sold at the fairs. It is definitely a must visit for Holiday makers traveling around France as its very close to Paris and especially for those traveling France during Christmas, Strasbourg is a must visit to enjoy the Christmas season.

Having Florence, a native of Strasbourg, as our guide was fantastic. She was knowledgeable about historic details and informative about the area. She was efficient with our 2 hours and got so much in. We felt ready to explore on our own after our tour and that was one of the main goals. I highly recommend her.

In spite of some connection at the beginning the excursion was extraordinary and much appreciated the guidance and the stops to see the marvelous places and buy some wine and gifts.

our Tour Guide is Simon, he is very friendly and explained the historical of strasbourg very well, very helpful to help us took pictures, patiently waiting our pictures sessions and patiently answered all our questions, this Tour is very recommended !!

This tour is a scam of the first order. They were half an hour late on arrival, the guide never showed up and when I called three times for assistance I was first told I was not at my hotel, then that the guide was lost, then that he was sick. This tour should NOT be part of the Tripadviser offering. A total scam.

She met us promptly at our hotel and then walked us through lovely Strasbourg, pointing out the history and significant structures, including Strasbourg's Notre Dame Cathedral, just gorgeous! Danielle was very personable, her English is excellent and she indulged my efforts in French and even pointed out good bakeries and got us samples of Alsatian macaroons coconut YUM! Highly recommend this tour with Danielle!</p>
