Mo, was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I book my tour last minute and he was on time at my hotel. I had a wonderful time.
The booking process was easy via TripAdvisor and he confirmed the tour just hours later. Nas picked us up from our hotel and guided us to all the stops mentioned in the description of the tour. He was punctual and really knowledgeable. He explained the different structures in perfect English and was really easy to listen to. He really wanted us to remember the facts, so he made it interactive. During the trip he also showed us details here and there and he made sure that we had time to ask questions. Of course we walked by vendors, but I didnt feel pressured one bit to buy anything. At the end he asked us about the rest of our day and made great recommendations. All in all totally worth it and highly recommended by us!
Nas was an exceptional guide for our walking tour. He was wealth of knowledge both historical and current cultural context. He has a great sense of humour which he blended into the facts he was providing. He also was very flexible and allowed us to tailor the tour to what we wanted to see. We would highly recommend doing a walking tour of Stone Town, with a guide, and you definitely want Nas as your guide! Great experience!
My tour with Nas was very fun and interesting. He taught me some history of Zanzibar and about current lifestyles of local people. Nas made certain I was able to see what interested me most and showed me things that I didn't know I would like, as well :-). Nas was a delight to get to know and made my tour very worthwhile. I recommend this company without reservation!!
We really enjoyed the walking tour. Friendly knowledgeable guide . Would recommend .
Amazing tour! Nas was an outstanding guide—friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He brought Stone Town's fascinating history to life with detailed stories about its culture, architecture, and heritage, making every stop meaningful. We learned so much while exploring the city's landmarks and hidden gems. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zanzibar! Thank you, Nas, Rafiki Yetu!
The guide was amazing 👏 I enjoyed good experience
This was a wonderful, informative and well rounded tour! The pacing is great, with resting breaks offered, opportunities to go into the museums that we passed, and a strong reinforcement of the knowledge we gained, to make sure we remembered and understood. We appreciated how Nas made learning fun! We did little games to learn Swahili words and very memorable stories. You’ll see EVERYTHING you’ve heard about Stone Town. This was a lovely way to soak up the last bit of culture on our last day! Thanks again!
We did a private tour and had a great experience with our guide. He provided a wealth of knowledge and was easy to understand. Would highly recommend Nas Zanzibar tours.
Thank you very much
10/10 experience! Nas was wonderful. Super informative and very willing to answer all my questions. I really feel like I now have a good understanding of the heritage of the island as well as how its history interacts with its present. As Nas is currently doing independent studying and has done research at the archives, I really felt like he went into detail and knew what he was talking about. Even though I was expecting a group, it ended up being a private tour as I was the only one who booked on.
Thank you very much
