We meet in front of the 7-Eleven store at Gullmarsplan (outside the subway station, the green line takes you from Central Station to Gullmarsplan in 8 minutes).
Experience an unforgettable evening hike in the great outdoors of Stockholm. This adventure takes you deep into the ancient forest of Tyresta National Park, one of the best nature areas accessible from the city.
We begin in central Stockholm and travel by public transportation into the wilderness. As dusk settles, we set out on foot to explore the heart of the forest, guided by an experienced leader who shares insights into the landscape, wildlife, and Swedish nature. Dusk is the best time to spot wildlife, and we will keep an eye out for animals along the way, but sightings are never guaranteed. You will walk off the beaten path, discovering hidden spots few people get to see.
Halfway through the hike, we take a break by a magical lakeside setting to enjoy a light Swedish Midsummer meal, or a hot soup during winter. As darkness falls, we continue hiking through the forest, taking in the sights and sounds of nature.

A great escape from the busy city!
Excellent experience! I always like to do something outdoors when I visit another country to get away from the city. The hike/walk at Tyresta was beautiful and never too treacherous. Our guide Caoimhe is a gem! She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and cooks a mean veggie meatball. Highly recommend it if you want something active and outdoorsy!

Beautiful hike but very expensive
It was a very beautiful hike! The guide was very nice. Beautiful nature reserve.
But the price is much too high for just a walk and some food (cold potatoes and some meatballs).
There was supposed to be a fika with coffee/tea, but it wasn't there.
Bus with OV included, but as a tourist you often already have an SL pass. This should be optional.

Thanks for the great feedback regarding the hiking activity itself. As already mentioned in our private conversation, our guide unfortunately forgot to bring the coffee and tea. This is of course unfortunate, especially on a rainy day but mistakes can happen, and we have compensated you accordingly.
Regarding the price, we pay our guides fair wages and Scandinavia is a high-tax and high-cost region, which is naturally reflected in the price of the activity. Compared with similar guided activities in Scandinavia, our prices are already on the lower end, so price levels in Sweden can be quite different from what you may be used to elsewhere in Europe.

July Summer Hike
It was an overall great experience to be on when it was my second day here. The hike was very pleasant and not to hot or cold. It was nice to walk along the trails and see nature after being in the city so long. The tour guide prepared an amazing meal for us and it was breath taking to see the different views of the park when it comes getting close to sunset. The pick point and drop off was easy and i am glad i got the chance to do this tour.

Great way to get out in the woods
Our fun guide Zach led us through woods and trails in the national park. We enjoyed the fresh air and lake views and a simple yet satisfying hiking meal at the lakeshore. Be ready for a variety of terrain and weather. Highlight of our visit to Stockholm.

Our guide was a very...
Our guide was a very lovely young woman who did a good job in spite of the nasty weather. It was a rainy day, so the natural beauty couldn’t be enjoyed as much as desired. I would tend to advertise this as a “nature walk” vs a “hike”. We also scheduled a kayak tour with this company, but due to inclement weather it was cancelled. The company was extremely accommodating in attempting to reschedule, but when that wasn’t possible, they cancelled/refunded promptly. I recommend activities with them.

Cool adventure
The trip it self was great and Henke was a great guide and cook. The event and hike was really unique and memorable. The part of having to meet way out of the city only to take public transportation there and back was a huge turn off for the money. The food was good but my only suggestion is to add history to the tour with the rest.

Very beautiful hike
Although it rained and we could not see the sunset, it was a very beautiful hike with lovely Nordic landscapes. Bring water and everything you will need for hiking. The guide is well prepared and can help if you are missing something. Our guide was very friendly!

Sundown in Tyrester Nationalpark
A special sundown walk because of a little bit of rain and cloudy sky. But that was what the tour made so interesting. Thank you very much to our guide who lead us safety through the nature.
