Stockholm Old Town Walking Tour with Local Guide

Description
This isn't your typical history tour. It's Stockholm through the eyes of a local friend. Amike means "friend," and that's exactly what this experience is about. Not a tour with a flag to follow or a script to recite. Just a relaxed walk with someone who lives here and loves sharing this city with visitors. You'll get history, of course, but also Swedish culture, daily life, fun facts, quirky traditions, and honest local tips. Why do Swedes take their shoes off indoors? What's fika really about? Where do locals actually eat in Gamla Stan? Your guide answers it all. We start at the Parliament, walk through Riddarholmen for waterfront views, then explore Gamla Stan's medieval alleys, colorful squares, and hidden courtyards. Along the way, expect conversation, not a lecture. Ask anything, go at your own pace, and leave feeling like you actually know Stockholm. Small groups only. Personal experience guaranteed. Come as a tourist, leave as a friend of Stockholm.

This was an excellent tour and the guide was very knowledgeable.
Our guide was knowledgeable and fun to listen to as he had loads of interesting insights about Sweden.
Our guide was Christian and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and experienced. He gave us many historical insights to the city, and shared his experiences about living in Sweden.
Christian was fantastic! He has a vast knowledge of Stockholm and Sweden (and other places around the world I should add) and I learnt so much in a fun and engaging way. I recommend the tour for anyone wanting to see the sights, but also learn about Stockholm's rich culture.
This Stockholm Old Town walking tour was an absolute highlight of our trip, entirely thanks to our incredible guide, Cristhian. He was funny, engaging, deeply knowledgeable, and highly responsive to everyone's questions. Beyond showing us the stunning historic sights, he brought the history of the buildings and the city to life with fascinating stories. He also gave us a much deeper understanding of Swedish culture and modern society, bridging the past with the present. The two hours flew by so quickly because we were so entertained and informed. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the best of this beautiful city—thank you, Cristhian!

I can really recommend the 2h Walking Tour in Old town with Christian as a guide. He was very well-read and told the story with a lot of humor. I went on the tour with five friends from Ireland and they learned a lot about the history of Sweden and us Swedes.
Thank you for such a generous review! Great to hear the group enjoyed the history, and that the humor came through too.
We went in September and it was extremely cold, it was even snowing; however, the guide was very polite and kind.
¡Gracias por la reseña! En septiembre el clima sorprende y más con esa nevada, así que se agradece que aun así disfrutaras el recorrido. Nos alegra que la atención y el trato estuvieran a la altura. ¡Un saludo!
Cristian makes it very easy and enjoyable; you have fun while he tells you a part of the city's great history. It's as if he were telling you a story and personalizing it. Simply brilliant!
