Guided by a certified astronomy expert, participants will explore the night sky through a powerful 305 mm telescope and an smart Telescope, identifying constellations and learning about celestial bodies. Discover the mythology behind legendary figures like Hercules and Andromeda, while gaining insights into the cosmos and our place within it. This two-hour journey not only offers a chance to observe planets and distant stars but also includes a memorable group photo against a stunning celestial backdrop, capturing the essence of this extraordinary night.

Bypassing MiniHollywood (or Driving past MiniHollywood), we'll arrive at the designated esplanade marked by the red pin. Welcome and Introduction Welcome to your meeting point! Our friendly guide will be waiting to greet you, easily recognizable by their soft red light. This light is specially chosen to preserve your night vision as we begin our adventure. We'll start with a brief introduction to the magical world of stargazing. You'll learn about the area's incredibly dark skies, which make it a premier location for viewing the cosmos. But the stars aren't the only legends here. We'll also share the captivating story of the Western movies filmed in these very surroundings.
Walk to the Viewing Point From the meeting point, we will walk for 5 minutes. During this short walk, your guide will provide a brief explanation about the Sierra Alhamilla Natural Area until we reach our observation point.
Discover the beauty of the stars in the Tabernas desert, far away from the light pollution of the city. Look up in wonder at the night sky and contemplate the marvels of the universe through our powerful telescopes. Accompanied by a certified guide, you'll embark on a fascinating journey through space. You will learn to identify the main constellations visible on the night of your visit. If the Moon is out, you'll be able to observe its craters in detail and understand how they formed over time. The activity also includes the principles of positional astronomy, which will teach you how to orient yourself in the night sky. Through the telescope, you will explore deep-sky objects such as open clusters, globular clusters, and binary stars.

Absolutely brilliant night. Our host, Ana, was so fun, incredibly knowledgable and was able to keep all ages (from very young to much older) engaged in three different languages. Her knowledge of the constellations and night sky was truely inspiring. Couldn’t really recommend this more.
A magical experience in the middle of the Tabernas desert where you learn many curiosities about our sky. Our guide Ana was a delight who answered all our questions, capturing our attention the whole time and leaving us all wanting to repeat! On our night the moon was the protagonist but if the occasion arises we will return to continue seeing stars. Thanks for everything from Barcelona 😉
It was a perfect night, very interesting and with lots of laughs. The guides Ana and Gonzo were very friendly and conveyed it with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. I recommend it 100%!
A spectacular night, besides telling us several legends and talking to us about the historical origin of the constellations, we were able to tinker with several telescopes. We were a group of adults and we had a blast like children, and the children who were there with other families enjoyed themselves immensely too
It was a really cool experience, we learned incredible things about space, the stars, the constellations, and all the stories surrounding them. Not only were the friends who guided the experience incredible and kept us engaged from beginning to end, but all the equipment they used was awesome, from the little fluorescent boards to the different telescopes. Recommended 100%!!!
I went with my husband and teenage daughter, and although we really enjoy this type of organized activities, we had never been to a star observation one, and I have to say that even though it coincided with the Spain match and we had that little worry, it exceeded our expectations by far. As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us with that smile and humor that made us feel like family right away. You can tell they live astronomy with a lot of passion and dedication. They made the sky meaningful for our lives and made us feel part of the universe. I want to mention how they adapt to the ages of the participants. My daughter was delighted.
