Bypassing MiniHollywood (or Driving past MiniHollywood), we'll arrive at the designated esplanade marked by the red pin. Welcome and Introduction Welcome to your meeting point! Our friendly guide will be waiting to greet you, easily recognizable by their soft red light. This light is specially chosen to preserve your night vision as we begin our adventure. We'll start with a brief introduction to the magical world of stargazing. You'll learn about the area's incredibly dark skies, which make it a premier location for viewing the cosmos. But the stars aren't the only legends here. We'll also share the captivating story of the Western movies filmed in these very surroundings.
Walk to the Viewing Point From the meeting point, we will walk for 5 minutes. During this short walk, your guide will provide a brief explanation about the Sierra Alhamilla Natural Area until we reach our observation point.

Gonzo was an excellent guide! He's incredibly passionate, super funny, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. We were lucky to have such a clear sky despite the moon being out, which made the experience even more special. He also shared so many interesting stories and explanations throughout the evening. Definitely recommend this experience!

We booked this tour as we were all interested in astronomy and some of us hadn't ever properly seen the stars with the naked eye or through a telescope. We got all that and more, as our guide, Gonzo, very enthusiastically showed us different constellations, told us what legends different cultures had about the constellations, showed us how to find the North Star, and more. We got to see clearly both the Milky Way in the sky, as well as a few celestial bodies like a nebula, a spiral galaxy, and a globular cluster. What all these celestial bodies were was also explained to us by Gonzo with the excitement of someone who loves learning and loves space. Despite the chilliness of the desert, the atmosphere was very warm, and by the end we were all inspired and energised. Before we left, we took a group photo with the stars at our backs to remember the experience. The day after, Gonzo sent us the group picture as well as a few long-exposure pictures of the celestial bodies we observed. Overall, the experience was amazing and the money was well spent, especially considering that the organization that Gonzo is a part of, Espacio Supernova, is a non-profit trying to educate children and adults alike; the money is going to a very good cause.
We spent a night under the stars adapted for all ages. The time went by very quickly, Gonzo gave a wonderful and enjoyable explanation that interested us from beginning to end.

We went to the stargazing activity and it far exceeded our expectations. The session is fantastically structured, combining very educational content with just the right touch of humor that makes it enjoyable from beginning to end. The guides were simply wonderful: they manage to adapt complex astronomy concepts to make them accessible to all audiences, from the most novice to the most curious.
