VERY long lines to get through security, so this tour,at the least, gets you through faster. The guide spoke very fast, was difficult to understand, only stopped at a few of the highlights, and gave little time to observe or photograph. So, ok to get into the basilica, but if you want more in-depth details about the paintings and sculptures, a different tour might be for you.

I was a bit concerned about where we had to go to pick up the tickets but it worked out perfectly fine. Our tour guide was Sevada. She was very knowledgeable and very personable. We missed seeing St. Peter’s basilica the last time we were in Rome and wanted to check it off our list. We were very satisfied with the tour.
The sound systems are not that powerful. The volume is not good enough for a person with reduce hearing. I could no use both of my hearing aides. I had to remove one to tie into their system. The whole tour was 200 % of what I expected.

Guide provided good information about the church however we were denied access to the dome although had the tickets and Viator is refusing to refund!

Great experience and guide was very informative. My only recommendation is the guide makes sure no one is left behind. It’s so crowded there it’s easy to get separated.
