Stunning architecture.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was blown away by the beauty of St Paul’s. I could have stayed there all day soaking it up. Just stunning architecture and attention to detail. Staff all very helpful and friendly. As others have said there are lots and lots and lots of steps so definitely need comfy shoes and ideally a bottle of water as gets quite hot. But definitely a 5 star experience. A must see for anyone coming to London.

St Paul's Cathedral - August 2026

Obviously this is a lovely building but we also had the benefit of a very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide (Diana) to show us around. Highly recommended.

St Paul’s Cathedral London

This was our second stop on our private tour with David on August 14th. Again he dropped us very close and gave us instructions on the layout. The cathedral was amazing. The art work, stain glass and overall architecture was breathtaking. The crypt had some interesting exhibits. Once again you can spend hours in this location if you take time to see it all in detail.

Majestic!

If there is only one paid visit to make in London, this is it. The cathedral is majestic, magnificent. Climbing into the dome is extraordinary (I didn't do the last level because I'm afraid of heights, but it was okay for me for the 1st and 2nd levels). The audio guides are good and in several languages. It is a visit not to be missed.

An essential stop on any London visit

This is possibly my fifth trip and every time, I find something new. I live in the London area and always recommend a trip to St Paul’s to visiting friends. The art and architecture are just amazing and the staff is very kind and helpful. If you’re figuring out your trip to London, this one is an essential. If you’re a history buff, the timeline in the crypt of the history of St. Paul’s in comparison to other historical events is very enjoyable.

It was a pleasant surprise.

We knew this cathedral from movies like Mary Poppins and it was a very pleasant surprise. Inside it is beautiful and houses the tombs of famous figures like Admiral Nelson. In the surrounding area there are gardens where people usually go to eat. It was worth visiting.

Must do

Must do but you have to be in shape to climb the more than 500 steps. The view is breathtaking.
