Itinerary
Say goodbye to Edinburgh as we head towards one of Scotland's most iconic viewpoints: the Forth Bridges Viewpoint. Opened in 1890, 1964, and 2017, these three bridges -despite their differences - oddly complement each other.
Stop in the traditional fishing village of Anstruther (known as 'Ainster' locally), where you can check out the old cobbled streets and take a walk along the seafront to the harbour.
Free time in St. Andrews to visit the sites that interest you most. St. Andrews Cathedral - This ruined cathedral was once one of Scotland’s most magnificent buildings. St Andrews Old Town - Immerse yourself in 1,000 years of history as you explore the winding streets and ancient castle. The Old Course - Golf was so popular in Scotland, it was banned in the 15th century. And nowhere was it more popular than in St Andrews, ‘the Home of Golf’.
After St Andrews, we take a pleasant drive through the rolling countryside of central Fife to Falkland. Falkland Palace dominates this old village, and was one of the main residences of the old Royal family of Scotland, the Stewarts (Stuarts). Aside from the palace the village is simply one of the most beautiful in Scotland with an array of old cottages and narrow winding streets. Passengers here have free time to wander around the village of Falkland or visit the palace. * Please note the palace is closed over winter season (Nov - Feb)

We enjoyed the trip to St Andrew’s. Andrew was a great guide!
This truly was an incredible experience!! I only needed more time lol because we loved it soooooo much !! I brought my son on this trip with me bc he loves golf . We loved the time to walk the course, driving range etc on our own . Also enjoyed the town itself and all it offers . The other towns we stopped were such a bonus as well !!! Our tour guide, Shaunwas amazing and made the trip just over the top with his knowledge, humor , and overall enthusiasm!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!
This was a lovely way to see St. Andrew’s and the countryside. 3 hours in the town was enough to shop, see the golf course, ruins and grab a pint. Our driver Rachel was very fun. I would recommend.
This tour was fine. The guide was friendly and informative, everything was punctual. I was a little surprised that at the sites we were basically dropped off and left to our own cognizance rather than escorted as a group.
St Andrew’s and the towns we visited were very nice and happy we had the opportunity to visit. However, I feel if we had a better tour guide it would have been a more informative ride. His manor was different than what I am used to with Viator.
This is a poorly organized day trip. For one thing, there is no guide, just the driver. Yes, he tries, while driving on both freeways and narrow roads, to tell us some facts and stories about the areas. But a) hard to do that and concentrate on driving safely, and b) he ( at least or youngish driver) had an accent and mumbled/slurred his words. Trip itself is disorganized; you stop for 45 minutes at various towns, with no information other than to walk up and down, maybe shop. Also no thought to bathrooms. When finally in St. Andrews, you set off to lunch, again no leader or really anyone to tell you much. The driver tries, but not very hard. A definite pass.
Great driver guide was knowledgeable and also knew how to bring the mix of real and not so real in an entertaining way. Highly recommended
Jim Scott is an exceptional guide. He has tremendous knowledge, is very engaged with the customers, and is very entertaining! The entire tour was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.
Tom was awesome. Easy going laid back trip that was relaxing and enjoyable. 5⭐️ Would highly recommend.
St Andrew’s has some interesting ruins that are neat to explore and photograph. There was adequate time at the other locations
