Srinagar to Leh Khardungla

Experience with MTB Kashmir was unforgettable. At the time of booking we were in touch with Sheen and Sana. Out of them we met Sheen but miss Sana. Bashir was our team marshal and Sameer was a driver. Both are helpful. Special thanks to Sameer. Sometimes he went out of the way to help us. On the last day, when we were on the way to Khardungla, one of the rider got sick and admitted to hospital and Sameer was there whole time with us helping us. That was a kind gesture. Basheer our Marshal is knowledgeable person. When we had problems with our bikes, he skilfully solved it. Thanks to both them and also whole team MTB Kashmir for memorable journey.

I recently completed the bicycle expedition from Srinagar to Khardungla, and I cannot thank MTB Kashmir enough for making it an unforgettable journey. Their planning, execution, and support throughout the challenging route were absolutely exceptional.What stood out the most:Flawless Logistics: The coordination among the entire MTB Kashmir team was remarkable. Everything ran like clockwork.Top-Notch Safety: They provided one support vehicle for every six riders, ensuring everyone felt secure and well-assisted at all times.Great Comfort: The accommodation choices were very nice, and the food arrangements were excellent, keeping us fueled and energized.I am incredibly happy with my experience. An Unforgettable Srinagar to Khardung La Cycling Expedition! I had the privilege of participating in the Srinagar to Khardung La cycling expedition, organized by MTB Kashmir, starting on 21st July, along with 24 riders. It was truly a lifetime experience. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Sheen, the organizer, for his outstanding planning, flawless execution, and constant support throughout the expedition. His dedication ensured that every participant felt safe, confident, and well cared for. One of the biggest strengths of this expedition was the excellent stay and food arrangements. During a high-altitude cycling challenge, proper accommodation, nutritious meals, and timely support are essential, and MTB Kashmir excelled in every aspect. Special appreciation goes to the entire organizing team—Sameer, Azaiz, and Bazil. They were incredibly caring, polite, technically knowledgeable, and always ready to help. Their commitment and teamwork were the backbone of this successful expedition. Most of our riders were in the 40 to 60 years age group, and the Srinagar to Khardung La route is undoubtedly a demanding challenge. However, thanks to the exceptional planning, technical support, motivation, and seamless management by Mr. Sheen and his team, we were able to complete this incredible journey with confidence and ease. I wholeheartedly recommend MTB Kashmir to anyone planning a cycling expedition in Kashmir or Ladakh. Their professionalism, hospitality, and passion for cycling create an experience that is safe, memorable, and truly world-class. We total 22 friends had a great experience with MTBK. Logistics arrangements were best, cycles are well maintained, on route support is very good.

The accommodations throughout the journey were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully selected. The support team was outstanding—always available, encouraging, and quick to help whenever needed, making the ride smooth and stress-free. The package is incredibly budget-friendly without compromising on quality. The food arrangements were excellent, with delicious meals, wholesome breakfasts, and fresh seasonal fruits served regularly. They also ensured we stayed energized by providing dates (khajoor), hydration drinks, and electrolytes throughout the ride, which made a huge difference during the challenging climbs. Every detail was well planned, allowing us to focus on enjoying the breathtaking landscapes and the thrill of cycling to Khardung La. A huge thank you to Aijaz and Sameer for making this trip so special. Aijaz, our exceptional guide and fellow cyclist, was not just a guide but someone who shared every challenge and every smile along the way. And Sameer, our backup vehicle driver and constant support system, was always there whenever we needed help. The whole tour felt like a family going on a vacation! Their passion, care, and attention to detail meant we never had to worry about anything. Thanks to MTB Kashmir, all we had to do was pedal and enjoy the incredible journey. Highly recommended!

I took part in cycling activities from Kashmir to Leiden because I usually did not finish only half of the ride, but thanks to MTB Kashmir, it was a very relaxing/comfortable/flexible journey!

I joined the MTB Kashmir trip and it was an amazing experience! On the first day, we visited the beautiful Pari Mahal and stayed in a lovely houseboat on Dal Lake — such a peaceful and unique experience. The next day, we drove slowly toward Kargil, enjoying breathtaking scenery along the way and even got the chance to go horseback riding. For the last three days, we cycled from Kargil to Leh, surrounded by stunning mountain views the whole time. The route was challenging but incredibly rewarding. Everything was well organized, and the guides were friendly and supportive. Highly recommended for anyone who loves adventure and nature!

I was absolutely thrilled to join the MTB Kashmir trip! Our adventure began wonderfully on Day 1 with a visit to Pari Mahal, where the lake sightseeing offered truly beautiful views. We then checked into a charming houseboat on Dal Lake. Day 2 was an excellent journey from Srinagar to Dras, where we had a very comfortable and scenic horseback riding experience. The next three days were the core of the trip: an incredible cycling journey from Dras to Leh. As a complete beginner to cycling, I was initially worried the trip would be too challenging, but the MTB Kashmir team provided outstanding support and ensured our safety throughout the entire ride. Their entire crew was consistently energetic and great fun to be around. Highly, highly recommend this experience!
