Our trip was such fun. It was really different than what we had been doing...gleaming modern city Tokyo and Kyoto and traditional culture sites. This is a great way to see places that the Japanese population visit in their free time. It was very diverse from the seaside park of flowers, to a quirky mentaiko brand factory that popcultures it up to the tallest buddha statue in Japan. You also got to see the different landscapes and lifestyle as you moved from each area. Our guide Gilbert made it especially fun. He was so eager to engage and chat about everything and really made it a fun enthusiastic day. It was slower pace because of our small group amd that was perfect at the tail end of a trip.
