Not wanted I signed up. Thought it would be more haunting and horror stories than history telling.
I’m sorry the tour didn’t match what you expected. Spirits & Scoundrels explores Savannah’s hauntings through the real history and people behind the stories. I understand you were hoping for the kind of scares you might find in a Halloween haunted house, and I’m sorry we weren’t the experience you had in mind.

We really enjoyed the Spirits & Scoundrels Tour with Brenna! The stories were interesting, entertaining, and a fun way to learn about some of Savannah’s more colorful history. Brenna was engaging and did a great job keeping the group interested throughout the tour. The walking portion was easy and comfortable, and we felt completely safe walking around Savannah at that time of night. My only suggestion would be to update the website with the nearest cross streets for the meeting location at Lafayette Square. For visitors who aren’t familiar with Savannah, that little bit of extra information would make finding the starting point easier. Overall, a fun and enjoyable evening and a great way to experience Savannah after dark!

Cancelled due to storms and it was a beautiful night. Not really anything else to say and this review requires a minimum number of characters
We’re glad the weather ultimately turned out nice. Unfortunately, that was not what the radar was showing when we had to make the decision. At the time of cancellation, the forecast and radar showed a strong downpour moving over Savannah during the scheduled tour time. Because our tours are outdoors, we eventually have to make a call based on the information available to us, with the safety of our guests and guides in mind. Savannah weather can change very quickly, and sometimes the storm moves, weakens, or disappears altogether. Had we ignored the radar, continued with the tour, and everyone ended up standing in a heavy downpour, we suspect we would have been criticized for that decision instead. It is, unfortunately, one of those situations where we can be wrong either way. We would rather occasionally cancel a tour that later could have operated than knowingly send guests and guides out when the weather information available to us suggests conditions may be unsafe. We understand the disappointment, but a one-star review because the weather changed after a safety decision was made seems to overlook the reason that decision had to be made in the first place.
Candler the guide, was great. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and engaging. The duration of the event was about 1:45 minutes and the walking wasn’t too far. Doing this at night really set the tone and in Savannah, so good!

There are only a handful of stops mostly with historic information and some creepy stories. It’s interesting but not scary. And our guide Candler made sure we had a great time. He was funny and knowledgeable and made the whole thing very enjoyable.

This tour exceeded my expectations. It was very factual where it was linking true stories and history into hauntings and sightings. Walking back to our accommodation definitely felt rather eerie too after everything our guide showed us.
