very expensive activity ... And at the moment of going... Phone call to cancel and offer me something else cheaper and especially much further away .... Very disappointed
We are very sorry that the alternative trip time & location was not suitable. The experience offered was of lower cost, but you would have received a refund of the difference. We were aware of your concern regarding this but were finding it hard to convey and reassure you as we do not have any French speakers on the team. We are truly sorry it didn't work out this time.
We had an amazing trip yesterday. It was the highlight of our London trip for me, my partner and our ten year old daughter. Ed and Akira made the trip on the boat really special, we loved Akira’s historical facts and chat and then Ed kicked it up a gear and span us round the Thames at full speed. We felt safe and excited all at the same time. Thanks to Kai on land for fitting us with our life jackets as well. Highly recommend this trip
We’re delighted to hear the trip was a highlight for your family and that Akira’s commentary and Ed’s time at the helm made it feel so special. It’s great to know you felt both safe and excited throughout, and we’ll pass your thanks on to Kai as well. We really appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you back again.
We were excited to take this tour on our one day in London. Unfortunately my 8 year old daughter got sick with upset stomach and vomiting. I messaged the tour operator and never received a direct reply. I called Viator who was not helpful. Later I received and email from Viator stating that the tour company is asking for proof in order to provide a refund, such as a hospital note or DEATH CERTIFICATE. Well, the latter fortunately did not apply, and I had no intention of taking my daughter to the hospital with a stomach bug, but I also couldn’t put her on a speed boat for the tour. I would’ve been happy with a credit from the Tour company or a credit from Viator, and I said as much. I wouldn’t trust a company with my safety on a speedboat if they have such little empathy, and do not engage in any communication, with a family with a sick kid.
Thank you for your feedback on this matter. When booking through a reputable third-party ticket seller such as Viator, we have no control over, or visibility of, the information or advice provided by Viator to its customers. As a result, it is difficult for us to comment on any guidance you may have received from them. The booking confirmation issued at the time of purchase includes the relevant Terms and Conditions, which passengers are asked to review before travelling. We are sorry that your attempt to contact us directly did not succeed, we did not receive the request for assistance otherwise we would, as per our customer service policy, have done our very best to see if there was any way we could assist.
Fabulous experience throughout. Great communications leading up to experience. Warm friendly greeting on arrival. Clear safety briefing. Lifejackets in good condition and checked well once fitted. Skipper George handled the vessel well, providing exhilarating and safe ride. Kanes commentary was just at the right level with a bit of humour and interesting info. I appreciate when we went that it’s was hotter than usual but something extra to cool the waiting area would be good. Thank you Rikk
I went for my birthday. What an amazing experience and quite an adrenaline time. Also the crew Leo, Kai and Heidi made it all worth while. Very knowledgeable of the buildings and sights and very experienced speed driving. Loved every minute of it
Leo and Dennis were our skipper and host. Leo took us on an amazing tour on the Thames - super fast and fun. Dennis (lovely lad) did a fantastic job telling us facts about London. Overall this is a great jaunt and well worth considering when in London!
It was well organised on time safety explained. Good commentary and really exciting the boat went fast and music was apt
Very well organised. Kind, polite staff. Exciting well managed ride. Super memorable experience for our 50th wedding anniversary with family.
They are very strict and unhelpful. The directions or where to get the boat aren’t clear. I couldn’t make it on time and lost all the money. Got there 7 minutes late. I can understand the couldn’t wait my family and me but they only told me sorry, you lost your money. No options for me. A waste of money in my case.
Missing a trip is never the outcome we want for any guest & their family, and we’re sorry this happened. Booking confirmations clearly display the departure Pier and require a minimum 15-minute arrival prior to departure for safety and also to give a chance to help you if you get lost. In this case your arrival was 11 minutes after the departure time, which equates to 26 minutes after the requested arrival time. Our sailings run on a strict schedule, which means we can’t delay departures once the boat is ready to leave. We could not offer any alternative options as the trip you had booked was at the very end of the day and no further departures available.
Fabulous way to see the key London sights while having some fun on the Thames!! Our skipper George and guide Kia were amazing!!
