Our guides are the most seasoned on the island, true watermen who know these reefs like the back of their hand. This isn’t just a fishing trip; it’s an adventure from start to finish. We dive in, hunt our catch, and earn our meal the old-school way. After the dive, we return to shore where your fresh catch is fired up and cooked to perfection. To complete the feast, an additional dish is already prepared to enjoy alongside the catch of the day. From ocean to plate, it’s raw, real, and unforgettable.

We had an amazing time on this excursion! It was our first time spearfishing and our driver and guide made the whole experience very enjoyable. We prefer private tours, and we were really excited to find this one. It did not disappoint and I highly recommend it!

Spear fishing
We booked this one our honeymoon and it was a great experience. Tyreke picked us up from our resort, and drove us to Soufriere. We stopped at a few local places and views on the way up and bought souvenirs. Once we got there my husband did the spear fishing and I just decided to snorkel. We had a blast. After spear fishing the guide cooked all the fish for us on the beach. Overall, a great experience!
Operator response
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for choosing us during your honeymoon!
We're delighted to hear that you both had a great time exploring Soufrière with Tyreke and enjoyed the scenic stops along the way. It's wonderful that your husband had a successful spearfishing experience while you were able to relax and snorkel in the beautiful waters. There's nothing quite like enjoying fresh fish cooked right on the beach after a day on the water!
We truly appreciate your kind words and are honored to have been part of such a special trip. We hope to welcome you both back to Saint Lucia for another adventure in the future.
Warmest regards,
The Team at Detour Saint Lucia

Perfect day and trip in St. Lucia
Great day - spearfishing was amazing. Picked up at hotel, went snorkeling and spearfishing, and then cooked our catch on the beach and had some beer with the meal before just hanging on the beach for the afternoon. Pretty perfect day and everything was well run, organized, fun and authentic. Ramiah was superb. Highly recommend, one of the best days of our trip.
