Small Group Sunset Sail for the Sophisticated Traveler

There were 6 of us on the boat. 2 didn't show, which made it quite comfortable, 8 might have been a bit snug. The boat is very nice, the trip is awesome! We worried it would rain, but it was just overcast. Great snorkeling, great snacks and food, great drinks. The crew couldn't have been nicer! And yes, the clouds did clear for a beautiful sunset! Absolutely super happy that we did it!!! Great for couples. Maybe not bring kids.

We booked this cruise due to stellar reviews on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint! Captain Bismark and his crew were friendly, attentive, professional and clearly dedicated to providing a great experience. We were on a sunset cruise and sailed to a secluded spot where we swam and snorkeled before being served really good chicken tacos and other snacks. We also had drinks provided throughout the cruise which were actually quite good. It wasn't a "booze cruise", just a lot of fun. We met great people and overall had a fantastic time. Highly recommended!

We loved our Lucky 13 Sunset Sail! Our group of 5 rated it a 10 out of 10. The crew was fun, safety minded and very hospitable. The boat, food, beverages, crew and music were excellent as was the area they took us for scuba diving. While there we also heard this is the preferred operator with local wedding and event planners. We will definitely book with them again. highly recommend.

Excellent experience for families! The crew was very friendly and did a great job with drinks and lunch. The snorkel guide was great at pointing out different sea life and while anchored the kids were able to jump off of the boat and swim around. The guides set out fishing lines while we headed to the stop to watch the sunset but we didn't catch anything. There is plenty of parking at the marina and the lot is secured with a security guard. Overall an excellent experience that I would recommend.

It was a fun experience I would go on again. The captains were super nice and caring people, they checked up on us all the time. I recommend to go on it. Their drinks and food was amazing.

My family and I did the Lucky13 sunset cruise through Serendipity Charters, it was our favorite part of our trip!! The crew was amazing. Food was great and drinks were flowing. Everyone had an amazing time sailing, snorkeling, jumping from the boat and finishing with the most beautiful sunset. Highly recommend!!

Definitely worth it. Small group and very peaceful. We went quite a long way along the coast (avoiding storms) and went snorkeling and then later circled around a group of dolphins. The staff was excellent and were super friendly and accommodating. Also the office staff was excellent and fast to respond to questions. 100% happy. My favorite part was just seeing the coastline, cliffs, and forests from a different perspective.

Best thing we did in Costa Rica captain and crew were awesome! Captain went out of the way to follow group of dolphins really made it special! Sunset was so beautiful!

From the moment we stepped aboard the sailboat until the moment we returned to the dock, was just an incredible experience. The captain and crew immediately made everyone feel welcome and offered the first beverage as we pulled out for an amazing afternoon on the water. The sail out was pleasant in the afternoon sun, as the small group interacted and enjoyed light conversation and some information about the area. We stopped in a small quite cove area and enjoyed snorkeling and swimming in the amazingly clean clear waters. After roughly an hour and a half of enjoying the water, we were treated with Costa Rican caviar (beans, corn and avocado) and chicken tacos which did not disappoint. A cold cerveza and the gentle rocking of the boat was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. The return trip offered a spectacular sunset at sea which was absolutely breathtaking. It was our final activity of our visit to Costa Rica, but provided a wonderful send off and assured we would return.
