Starting from our rendezvous bike shop in we will first stop at City Hall to take in the magnificent views, inner courtyard, and architecture. We will continue towards the city center, passing by Gamla Stan; the Old Town, on our way to Riddarholmen to enjoy breathtaking views of the City Hall from another angle as well as look out toward Sodermalm. We will talk about Ridderholmen Church, Birger Jarl, Gustav Vasa, Queen Cristina, the founding of Stockholm, and major historical events. We will swing back through Old Town, visit the main plaza, great church, and pay a visit to the statue of St George and the Dragon before moving on into the city. We will also pass by my favorite peppermint store! Did you know peppermint was invented in Sweden? We will then continue on to Djurgaden at a leisurely pace soaking in the boardwalks, the easy bike lanes trees, passing by Skansen, Vasa Museum, Prince Eugen Palace, The National History Museum and more. At each point of interest, we’ll stop share a story and take time for photos.

The meeting point is I will be waiting at the front door to the bike shop. We'll go in get the bikes which are included in the price of the tour and we are on our way.. Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Very beautiful and very informative discovery of the center of Stockholm by bike. Philipp is a very pleasant guide and very attentive to the group's needs. The Fika break in the middle of the outing and by the water was very enjoyable.

No better way to see a city than with an experienced cyclist and tour guide. Phillip really checked all boxes. We cycled over 8 islands with many stops for tidbits of history and culture. Lots of beautiful photo ops at key locations in Stockholm. Fun stop for Fika. Would have enjoyed a bit more history of the city at each stop vs a lot of admiring the views, but still got a broad overview of Stockholm And learned a lot in addition to getting great recommendations for restaurants and shopping

Perfect way to see the city. We got a great overview of all the main areas and attractions, had a nice little stop for Fika, and got some great photos and history of the city. Very safe city to ride in, we did it with 3 children- youngest is 9 and they all loved it.
