Nikki was our guide and we couldn’t ask for anyone better. We were focused on seeing wildlife and she is an unbelievable passionate native KI naturalist. Amazing person, amazing scenery and amazing wildlife habitat here. Perfect day.

Flinders Chase National Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located at the west end of Kangaroo Island about 177 kilometres west-south west of the state capital of Adelaide and 110 kilometres west of the municipal seat of Kingscote.
This stunning work of nature has been shaped by the erosive forces of wind, sea spray and rain over some 500 million years. The golden orange lichen covering some of the rocks offers visitors wonderful photo opportunities at different times of the day
The lighthouse which was constructed between 1906–1909, consists of a tower built from 2,000 pieces of local stone, together with three four-roomed cottages to house the head keeper and two assistants with their families. The light characteristic shows two flashes every ten seconds,
Admirals Arch is one of Kangaroo Island's most impressive and unusual natural landmarks. It took thousands of years of erosion to create this distinctive rock bridge near the Cape du Couedic Lighthouse on the island's southwest coast. The boardwalk leading to the Admirals Arch is nearly as scenic as the landmark itself.
Snelling Beach is one of the most popular seaside destinations on Kangaroo Island’s north coast. With its wide shoreline and windswept foredune alongside the banks of Middle River, the beach has plenty of scenic appeal.

Nikki was our guide and we couldn’t ask for anyone better. We were focused on seeing wildlife and she is an unbelievable passionate native KI naturalist. Amazing person, amazing scenery and amazing wildlife habitat here. Perfect day.
We enjoyed everything about this trip. Flinders Chase National Park was spectacular. Lunch was a cooked meal, not just a box sandwich. We saw koalas including mama and baby and kangaroos including mama with Joey in pouch. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
Great tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and personable. She went out of her way to be sure we saw animals. She also was very flexible and we stayed as long as we wanted at each location. The vehicle was much nicer than expected, very comfortable and everyone could see. We wish cold water was offered more frequently, we had to ask. It was a very hot day. The lunch while good did not match description of being gourmet. There could also have been more food. Biggest negative was using Trip Advisor to make the reservation. It was a real pain. There were way too many emails involved to make the reservation. When we were directly in contact with the provider it was easy.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed the tour, the guide’s knowledge and flexibility, and the comfort of the vehicle especially on such a hot day. Regarding water, we do provide one bottled water per guest at the start of the tour and also carry a large chilled water container in the vehicle so guests can refill throughout the day. This is part of our effort to minimise plastic waste, but we appreciate your comment and will be more proactive in reminding guests that refills are always available. As for lunch, we’re sorry it didn’t meet your personal expectations. Our gourmet BBQ lunch is freshly cooked on the day and typically includes marinated chicken or lamb skewers cooked on the BBQ, potato or couscous salad, a green salad with tomatoes and feta, garlic bread, and local Kangaroo Island wines (Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc). This is usually a highlight for guests. We also understand your frustration with booking via TripAdvisor. While we value the platform for visibility, we agree that direct communication with us is often simpler, and we’re glad that once in touch, everything was easy. Thank you again for joining us, and we’re very happy you enjoyed the overall experience. We hope to welcome you back to Kangaroo Island in the future.
Great tour and great guide. Luca was a great host. Engaging and explanatory and great cook! If I have to make a note, he should drive a little slower. I understand the tight schedule but on the van, who is behind, is a bit “tossed” and can not enjoy the view and what he sees around
Thank you very much for your review. However, I would like to assure you that we take the safety of the people on board our vehicles very seriously. Our vehicles are equipped with a kind of "black box" that records not only the vehicle’s location but also the instantaneous speed (every 30 seconds). Our drivers (myself included) are in no way able to exceed the speed limit without the system recording and flagging it. The maximum speed limit on paved roads is 110 km/h and on dirt roads it's 100 km/h. We usually drive at 100 on paved roads and 80 on dirt roads. Many Italian tourists find these limits hard to believe because in Italy the maximum allowed speed on such roads is usually 50/60 km/h... I understand that sitting in the back can feel a bit “bumpy,” but in that case I don’t understand why you didn’t ask to sit in the front where it might have been a bit more comfortable...? Or, if you felt the driver was going too fast, why not let him know you were uncomfortable? In any case, I’m glad that overall you enjoyed the tour.
We went on the Flinders Chase Tour. Our guide, Nikki went above & beyond. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the KI flora & fauna and is a great advocate for the island. We saw everything on the itinerary plus a few extra sights. The delicious BBQ was a nice inclusion. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone who has just one day to see the main sights of this beautiful destination.
A very good day trip taking in key places and sights. Nikki is a very knowledgeable guide. She provided a lot of information about the island geography, history and wildlife.

Our guide Nikki was simply the best! She was so knowledgeable about “her” island and all the wildlife. We saw amazing animals in their natural habitats. Nikki made our day with her authentic KI personality and amazing photography. Highly recommend requesting her.
Luca was very good and very kind, the tour was very nice, surrounded by nature and we saw koalas and kangaroos a few meters away. He made us a great barbecue for lunch.
