Excellent tour group. Communication from beginning was timely and easy. From updates to follow-on questions after the tour, the tour agency was terrific in providing a delightful experience. I would definitely reserve with this group again. For the on-board tour experience, the boat and the Captain/Leader - Bernard - that I had was fabulous. I highly recommend Tour A with this tour boat.
I wish I took more seriously reviews that said all the stops are very similar. Even in off season the crowds are overwhelming and makes the tiny lagoons feel like chaotic wet markets. The guides skipped one of the stops without previous notification. No prior instructions given about the fact that there was no toilet on board, they can't dock in most stops, you have to walk across chest deep water to get to and from the boat at every stop, they won't help anyone with snorkeling. Even as a non-swimmer I've snorkeled just fine in other countries in the past with no problems with helpful guides, but here they were busier charging extra for all the rentals including snorkeling gears and less interested in doing the "guiding." The guides are rude and unprofessional. While those who didn't want to swim at the big lagoon kept kayaking around, my kayak was being maneuvered by a guide who decided to make me stand in the water for half an hour and tied up the kayak without asking me if I'd like to continue kayaking and went on hanging out in the water with his pals. I was also told by a guide to bring my boyfriend next time so that the guides don't have to help me in the water. I don't recommend Tour A in general, but even if you do it, don't do it with this particular company.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We respect every guest's right to share their experience, but we also believe it is important to clarify several points in your review, as some of the statements do not accurately reflect the services and assistance provided by our team. This was a shared joiner tour, not a private tour. Our guide was responsible for assisting multiple guests throughout the activity, and therefore, their attention could not be dedicated exclusively to one person. Despite this, our guide did provide assistance when needed, including helping you paddle your kayak inside the lagoon. We are sorry that you did not feel this assistance was sufficient, but it is unfair to conclude that our guide was unwilling to help or was not doing their job. Regarding snorkeling, our guides are available to assist guests, but guests who require personal assistance, especially non-swimmers, should communicate their needs clearly to the guide. It is difficult for a guide to know the level of assistance a guest requires without being informed. At the same time, our guide must also attend to the safety and needs of the other guests in the group. We also strongly disagree with the characterization of our guides as "rude and unprofessional." Our team strives to provide professional service and assistance to all guests, and we stand by the efforts of our guide during this tour. If there was a misunderstanding between you and the guide, we sincerely regret that, but we believe it is important to distinguish a communication issue from deliberate negligence or unprofessional behavior. As for the crowds, these are public tourist destinations, and the number of visitors is unfortunately beyond our control. Even during the off-season, popular lagoons and attractions can become crowded. This is a reality of visiting highly sought-after destinations and is not something our company or guide can control. Regarding the tour stop that was skipped, changes to the itinerary may sometimes be necessary due to weather, sea conditions, safety considerations, operational circumstances, or other factors. We regret if the reason was not communicated clearly enough during the tour. We would also like to clarify that rental fees for items such as kayaks and snorkeling equipment are clearly stated in our tour exclusions. Guests are also reminded before the tour about possible additional expenses. These charges are therefore not hidden or unexpected, and we make every effort to ensure that guests are informed in advance. We understand that every traveler has different expectations. However, when joining a shared group tour, guests must also understand that the guide's attention and assistance are shared among all participants. If a traveler requires dedicated, one-on-one assistance or expects the guide's full attention throughout the activity, a private tour is the more appropriate option. We sincerely regret that the experience did not meet your expectations. Nevertheless, we respectfully disagree with the one-star assessment of our service based on circumstances that were either beyond our control or resulted from a misunderstanding of the nature of a shared joiner tour. We welcome constructive feedback and will continue to remind our team to communicate clearly and assist guests to the best of their ability. At the same time, we stand by our guide and the assistance that was provided during your tour, and we hope this clarification helps future travelers better understand what to expect when booking a shared joiner experience with us.
We had an amazing time island hopping and exploring the stunning crystal blue waters of Palawan. We chose small group Tour A and there was plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the sea breeze. The lunch was delicious and beautifully prepared. The crew was kind knowledgeable and took some of the best videos and photos of our time together. I highly recommend you book this tour when your in El Nido!
This was a very enjoyable day trip out of El Nido. The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. Thanks to Regie and all of his crew. The boat was a nice size and very comfortable ( we had around 26 passengers). The excursion offers a nice variety of activities, including swimming in the Secret Lagoon, snorkeling at at least one location, a beautiful 1-hour kayak ride surrounded by limestone formations, a nice lunch on the beach, and, to finish things out, beers (for purchase) and beach volleyball on picturesque 7- Commando Beach. Well done!!!!
Great day with amazing staff Value for the money, would recommend 100%. Staff could not do anymore for us
Great day out, the crew on the boat were super friendly and helpful. The scenery and locations we visited were amazing. Also a great buffet lunch was provided.
We booked this tour to include pick-up at our hotel but the day before, when we checked the time we were to be collected, we were told there we were not being picked-up. If we had not checked we'd have been waiting in vain at our hotel as that was the meeting point on all our correspondence! Other than that the tour was good and the staff were all very helpful and friendly with the stops and lunch all good.
This was our favorite tour, the stops were beautiful but also the staff were amazing. It was very well organized, everything went as planned, and the boat crew including our guide Brian, was very helpful and friendly. We had great fun on this tour:)
A good tour, excellent crew. If I had to choose between Tour A and Tour C I would go for Tour C. Tour A felt like repeating the same process each time we arrived at a similar looking bay/island.
so fun! live music was amazing
