This path takes you to a El Yunque Rainforest secluded lagoon with cascading waterfalls that look like they belong in a postcard. You'll have time to relax, swim, and even explore a hidden cave behind the falls—a true jungle paradise that feels like it’s just for you. Itinerary
We will start off by picking up our customers around the beautiful city of San Juan. Once we have all participants on the group, we will drive towards the Rainforest area taking in the different views around Puerto Rico. From city to country, experience the different lifestyles found in our paradise.
SMALL GROUPS IS BETTER! 11 Participant max per tour guide! El Yunque National Forest! Upon arrival, our certified tour guide will lead you through this amazing secret spot of "El Yunque". In this area you will explore through the mud trails and lush green of the rainforest. The hike will take approximately 1.5 miles in total and will take approximately twenty minutes to reach the first bathing area and another ten minutes hiking on rocks to get to the water slide. We’ll spend around 2 hours inside the rainforest where we’ll be swimming, swinging from the rope like Tarzan, sliding down a natural water slide, cooling off under the waterfall and jumping from different cliffs, our just relax and take pictures, get in the fresh water and enjoy the amazing views, participants are not obligated to do the adventure activities.

- Sometime some activities are not available because weather conditions
- Maximum age recommended 65 on good health conditions
- Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes that you wouldn't mind getting dirty or wet. Water shoes, sneakers or hiking shoes are recommended.
- . Participants must be physically capable of walking thru steep, rocky, muddy and uneven surfaces without assistance
- Use of lifejacket and helmet is mandatory.
- This tour operates based weather and river conditions.
- On Saturdays the hike is longer and more challenging since we depart from a different point.
- Back problems and pregnant women cannot participate on the tour.
- San Juan Tours reserves the right of admission - If a person appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not following instructions or causing disruptions the guide has the right to cancel their reservation at any moment, and no refunds will be issued due to this. Persons with the previously listed health restrictions cannot participate on the tour. No refunds will be authorized if a person neglects to read complete description and does not meet the safety requirements and limitations on the day of the tour. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- This tour requires a minimum amount of 3 participants. If the minimum is not met with all total bookings, the tour would be suspended. Customers will get the chance to reschedule or get refunded.

First of all my husband and I are both 73 years young. We booked the Rainforest Tour on July 21st to be picked up from our Princess Ship. Angel was our tour guide and he was amazing!! I have a balance issue due to leg pain. Angel held my hand the entire tour and he and the wonderful young men in our group took extra care with me on the steps. I can’t thank Angel enough, he made my day fantastic.

Not a great experience. Didn’t go to the national park main entrance . No visitors center. The tour guide is huge into safety- which is great but felt over the top for the experience. Not worth the money and felt disorganized.

Our tour description clearly outlines the areas of El Yunque National Forest that we visit, and the Visitor Center / main entrance is not part of this specific adventure tour. Guests looking for a more relaxed, sightseeing-focused experience that includes the Visitor Center are better suited for our easy-going bus tour, which is designed specifically for that purpose. This experience is an active, guided adventure, focused on hiking, river areas, and natural features like waterfalls and rock formations—not the main paved visitor facilities. For that reason, safety protocols (including equipment and guidance) are a key part of the experience, especially given the terrain and water conditions. We’re sorry to hear the tour did not match your expectations, but everything provided was consistent with what is described prior to booking. We always encourage guests to review the tour details carefully so they can select the experience that best fits what they’re looking for. This was a great tour. It is extreme though so if you have any medical issues or not steady on your feet, don't do it. We had a great time though. One of my favorite things on our trip.

Did the rope swing, a couple of cliff jumps, and the natural slide. She served fresh fruit at the water area. Had a great time.
