Description
As seen on Adelady and SA Weekender, this 2-hour buggy adventure takes you to wild places totally inaccessible to anyone else. After admiring koalas in the 500-year-old gum trees along the banks of the Eleanor river, your experienced Guide will take you to the edge of the Earth! At the coast you’ll marvel at the beauty of the rugged cliffs, turquoise waters and huge swell. You’ll get to go to a pristine remote beach where there will be nothing between you and Antarctica besides the vast Southern Ocean. Finish off, of course, with a ride through the desert-like landscape of Little Sahara’s epic inland sand dunes. This adventure is sure to be one to remember!

Cruise through 500 year old gum forests and over the Eleanor River, spotting local flare and fauna, including orchids, Ligurian bees, and koala sightings GUARANTEED. Travel out to the south coast, stopping at our secluded, private and pristine beach, before travelling on to rugged cliff tops. Frequently spotted is a range of sea and bird life including whales, dolphins, seals, ospreys and wedge tailed eagles.
Experience our incredible inland sand dunes like few others have. Learn about the history of the area and enjoy the ride!

Amazing! But bang for buck
We had a fabulous trip with Corey! He was lots of fun, great sense of humour and thoroughly emersed us in the experience.
Whilst it’s an amazing experience it was $615 for a family!

In terms of price, we’ve actually kept our buggy tour prices the same since we first started offering them in 2020. Our pricing helps us make sure our team, buggies and equipment, and the site we’re lucky enough to operate on are all well looked after.
Just to add a little context, the $615 also included the added extra of an Unlimited Board Pack, with two boards and two helmets. This is a bonus offering available to anyone who books a tour directly with us and allows you to use the sandboards and toboggans as many times as you like for a whole year during our opening hours.

Beautiful experience for both the animals and the landscapes!
Beautiful outing with an off-road vehicle and a driver-guide who told us and explained a lot of information about the animals we saw, in particular koalas and bees. The stop at the beach was nice and the driving on the dunes was fun. Overall, it was an activity that I recommend to anyone visiting Kangaroo Island!!

Tons of Fun + Informational !
I had the best experience at Little Sahara Adventure Centre! It was so cool taking a buggy around the sand and learning more about the local ecosystem. Big thanks to Aldis, my fantastic guide, for being so knowledgeable and answering the many questions I had. It was such a unique experience getting to see the sand dunes, ocean, and bush all in the same space, as well as a bunch of bees and some koalas!

Awesome Adventure
So Easy to book online. Aldis & Candice were exceptional tour guides and gave easily understood instructions. The scenery and landscapes blew us away and we even seen a koala bear. throughly recommend the buggy tour.

Fun (not crazy) buggy ride
We had an informative fun buggy ride with Aldis. Thank you so much. We were so lucky it was just the two of us with Aldis. The beach view on a beautiful blue sky morning is awesome as well as the thrill seeking ride up, over and down the sand dunes. A fun event.

Amazing experience
We just rocked up and got the last 3 spots. They kitted us out in all the safety gear and then we were off. We travelled with Fox who was brilliant. He stopped often - either to point out something special or to go for a quick walk or to take a photo from a great viewing spot. Nothing was too much trouble. We stopped in a forest, saw a koala & native bees then to a magnificent beach. Riding the sand dunes was exciting and great fun.
It was worth the money and we would really recommend this experience.
