The captain of sailboat will meet you at the marina. After a brief instruction you will start the tour. The excursion continue on south of the lagoon where you will see cenotes, small islands, mangrove trees, and you will swim in beautiful clear waters. We love sailing and it was great to be the passenger and let someone else handle the sails. Costa did a great job and knew a lot about the area, and could even answer our birding questions. Just remember that you can't wear sunscreen so dress accordingly.

The activity was amazing. Both the captain and his assistant were super friendly. The assistant even let us taste the maté she was drinking. The fruits we got as snacks were very tasty. And the place itself was simply magical.

Great excursion to the Bacalar lagoon! An unforgettable moment in a paradisiacal setting. The water colors are amazing 😍 We were with Marine who speak French and Julio the captain, which really made the difference. They took the time to explain everything (the history of the lagoon, the cenotes, the stromatoliths...) and the atmosphere was both professional and very friendly. We felt safe, well accompanied, and discovered beautiful places. I recommend 100% if you are in Bacalar! 🇲🇽

This trip was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation. Julio was so cool and made us feel comfortable right away. He showed us all the beautiful spots around the lagoon and sprinkled in some history and facts.
