You'll glide across Lake Bled on a traditional pletna boat to the island church, ride the underground train deep into Postojna Cave, and stand beneath Predjama Castle, built improbably into a cliff face. Between the sights, there's time to walk the lakeshore, taste the famous Bled cream cake, and hear the stories your local guide grew up with. Because the group stays small, up to 8 in a comfortable van rather than a big coach, the day stays relaxed and bends to what your group feels like. Admissions like the cave, the boat, and the castles are optional, so you only pay for the stops you choose, and we share the prices upfront. Postojna Cave is the best-known cave in the world. It is also the greatest tourist attraction in Slovenia and one of the world's largest Karst monuments.
The Predjama Castle reigns over the surrounding area, perched high up in a vertical cliff, not far from the Postojna cave, in the idyllic village of Predjama. It is an interesting and romantic sight throughout the year: in the spring and summer its surroundings are abundant with blossoms and flowers, in the autumn it is clad in the colours of surrounding forests and it is at its most enchanting in the winter when the surrounding area is covered in snow.
A trip to Bled, the charming Alpine resort at the very edge of the Julian Alps, must be a part of any visit to Slovenia.
Dive in the lake tradition and ride by pletna boat to the island. Following the boat ride, you get some time to explore the little island and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area. Optionally, you can enter the Church of the Assumption and even ring the wishing bell, which has been ringing over Lake Bled since 1534.
Visit Bled castle, perched on a sheer cliff high above Lake Bled. Visit the Bled castle museum, which gives you an insight into the history of the entire area, and admire the views of Lake Bled from several viewpoints at the castle.

- Please keep in mind that there are quite a few stairs at the Bled island, Bled castle, and Predjama castle, but you would do that in a fairly slow pace.
- Warm and comfortable clothes and footwear are essential to visit the Postojna cave (temperature in the cave is 9°C / 48 Fahrenheit).
- You travel in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan, never a big coach, with a licensed local English-speaking guide-driver.
- Admissions are optional and paid on the day, so you only pay for the stops you choose. Prices shared upfront.

An excellent trip if you are in this city. The guide was funny, knowledgeable and so clear in his instructions. An amazing place to visit.
Okay everyone please trust me when I write this review. It is not worth the tour and it is a complete rip off. When we were in Slovenia the locals told us that we were getting ripped off and that this tour is only transportation. Please take the bus instead and save yourself MIN $100 . The tour guide is the driver and does not accompany you to anything he stays in the car. You pay for all the activities yourself.
We are sorry this was not the day you hoped for. For anyone reading, two clarifications: - the optional admission fees are listed upfront in the tour description, kept separate on purpose so guests only pay for the sites they choose, and - our licensed guide leads the day throughout, not only the driving. We stand by this tour and our team, and we wish you safe onward travels.
Fantastic trip! We certainly got a lot done in one day. The Postojna cave alone was worth the trip, it was a truly mesmerizing experience. You have a lot of choices to make regarding touring various castles and churches, taking a boat, enjoying free time, etc. However, it feels like you cannot make a wrong choice as every option is amazing. Tour guide (Nina) was knowledgeable, respectful and a real pleasure to be with all day. We did hit traffic but that is beyond anybody’s control and it did not stress anyone out too much (more time to rest for the next stair climb).
It was a great trip and covered a lot of information and territory. Luca did a good job describing and explaining what we were seeing and doing. The cave was amazing. Other places were good too, but the cave was my favorite. The castle in the cave was good and interesting also.

Wow! What an action packed day seeing the countryside and some of Slovenia’s exceptional sites! My husband broke his foot before our trip but still was able to enjoy the tour and sites. The driver/guide was knowledgeable and made it interesting with some tales and humor while driving. Know that He does not accompany you on the site visit. It’s a very worthwhile tour if you have limited time in country.

Really beautiful sights. Lake Bled is icredibly beautiful, calm and clean. Motorboats aren't allowed so it’s a real win! Our guide Jan was awesome, i like Slovenian humour, really down to earth.
