With terraces facing east, west, north, and south, Top of the Rock offers views of the Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, and all five boroughs. The Top of the Rock experience has been reimagined with new additions to the observation decks, including SKYLIFT and The Beam Experience. These aerial attractions elevate the visit with rare, pulse-pounding perspectives of the iconic skyline. SKYLIFT rises nearly 30 feet above the 70th floor, lifting guests into an open-air platform for a one-of-a-kind vantage point above the city. - SKYLIFT: All children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of your SKYLIFT experience. Guests who exceed 300 lbs. (136 kg) will not be able to ride.
- Elevators on all floors. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms. Strollers permitted (must be collapsible). Service animals welcome. Wheelchairs not permitted on The Beam Experience.
- No outside food/beverages. No tripods. No weapons.
- Recommend layers and stable footwear for outdoor decks.

They let way too many people on each deck. It’s horribly unorganized. Horrible signage to figure out where to go. Totally not worth it.

MUST DO! if in new york we did it in early june quite late at 10:30 pm and the views are absolutely 10/10! it wasn’t too crowded at all at this time we found it to be a lot less busy than expected! 100% worth the views especially at night it’s an amazing expedience and lots and lots of places to take pictures

The FIFA World Cup Finals watch party on 7/19/2026 at Top of The Rock was a miserable experience. They clearly sold far more tickets than they could reasonably accommodate. Very little thought seemed to go into the viewing setup. One of the TV screens was in direct sunlight, making it virtually impossible to see the game. The designated viewing areas could barely hold a hundred people, yet it felt like they had sold several hundreds of tickets. People were packed into cramped spaces, making the entire experience uncomfortable and frustrating. This is not what a watch party should be. Many attendees gave up and left, while others ended up watching the game on their phones because they couldn't get a decent view of the screens. I ca Overall, this felt like a complete rip-off. They overpromised, underdelivered, and failed to provide the experience they advertised.
