Great Introduction to Santorini without Compromising Fun!
What an amazing experience! We didn't have much time to study up on this history of Santorini. This extremely interactive tour was super fun, not too intense, but extremely enlightening if you don't know much about Santorini, it's volcanic past, Plato, and mythology! It's the one tour where I did ALL the exhibits and enjoyed each one. Plus, there were guides by almost every exhibit explaining how to engage with the content. Total visit time was about 1.5 hours. Highly suggest if you want to know more about this place without taking a longer 5 hour guided tour.

It is worth discovering, but nothing more.
The price is reasonable, the film is in 3D for a short duration (about 10 minutes). We would have liked a little more excitement and for longer.

A taste of mythology with also factual information about the geology of Santorini
A really engaging and educational attraction that is using technology well. The staff gave a high level of customer service. Spent a few hours there but would have been nicer if it lasted longer but my 8 year old loved it so I gave it full marks. It cost me £36 for a family of 4 which I felt was reasonable.

Lost Atlantis experience
The presence of museums in all places is important and useful on the islands. It is a beautiful place with beautiful makets and information. The video is well-worked and all the effects give impression to the kids. Certainly the price is a little more than it should but it is worth the effort!

Fun experience
Great way of learning about the myth of the lost city of Atlantis. My daughter enjoyed it as she is very interested in Greek mythology. The 4D video was good fun.

You rather do other activities in Santorini…
Not a place to visit. I don’t know why it’s called 9d when it feels like sitting in a classroom when I was 10 years old (2006). It’s more like 1d. 10/10 for staff and their hospitality. A for effort.

Atlantis Experience
This was a fun little excursion for us. The museum isn’t large so you’re only likely to spend an hour or less there. The staff were all very knowledgeable and helpful. The 4D movie experience was definitely the biggest highlight. There’s a lot of fun interactive areas for kids as well. It was a nice change of pace from the other tours we did on our trip to Santorini. If you don’t have a car, you can take either the bus going to Akrotiti or to Perissa to get there and back but let the driver know where you’re going before you leave Fira. There’s a slight walk along the shoulder of the road from and to the bus stop so definitely take your time and use some caution.
